I apologize, I must be thinking of some one else.

Thank you for correcting me, and clarifying that.
All is well, I hold no ill will. I do want to say that I think that I do firmly stand in a position that promotes obedience to the Messiah, people may or may not agree with my view of how that is done, but however one views obedience I say the Messiah;s way is the path we should walk. And no I am not perfect, but I want to do His will.

Man is your theological terminology WAY CONFUSING. Post-Trib and Pre-Wrath are the exact opposite where I come from.

What Church or Denomination do you come from ? ? ?
I belong to no church, denomanation or any brand of religion, I seek to follow YHWH by prayer and diligently studying His word and I fellowship with those that also seek Yah. I dont mean to use uncommon terminology but I, in my own journeey have leraned much, and my entore life I was told common christian doctrine and did not know the Scriptures to know if it was true or not, after years of study I realized much of what I had been told is not Scriptual. I will use 2 examples. 1 I was told "God only accepts blind faith" after studying the word YHWH says to search His word, that He shows great signs and wonders, test the spirits, etc all to confirm our belief. 2. I was told "the Law is done away" Yet the Messiah says "unless heaven and earth pass the Law will not pass"

I believe He is going to return and gather His elect post-tribulation because this:

Mat 24:29-31, "Immediately, but after the tribulation of those days will the sun be darkened, and the moon will not give her light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven; and then will all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His malakim with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of earth to the other."

The timing of this is the 7th trumpet:

Revelation 11:15, “And the seventh messenger sounded his trumpet, and there came to be loud voices in the heaven, saying, “The reign of this world has become the reign of our Master, and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever!”

after this trumpet begins "the day of YHWH" or the wrath of YHWH, the vials of Revelation:

Revelation 15:1-8, “And I saw another sign in the heaven, great and marvelous: seven messengers having the seven last plagues, for the wrath of יהוה was ended in them. And I saw like a sea of glass mixed with fire,..the seven messengers having the seven plagues, dressed in clean bright linen, and having their chests girded with golden bands. And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven messengers seven golden bowls filled with the wrath of יהוה who lives forever and ever. And the Dwelling Place was filled with smoke from the esteem of יהוה and from His power, and no one was able to enter the Dwelling Place until the seven plagues of the seven messengers were ended.”

Here is proof that you are wrong about Testament and Covenant being the Same Thing.

Hebrews 12:24 (NASB)
24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant <G1242>, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.

I can tell that you ignore the mandate that we listen to Pastors, Teachers, and Evangelists, THAT ARE NOT FALSE TEACHERS. Your MIND, is your False Teacher.

The false teacher does reside in the mind of a man.

As it is written: "
9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

This is why I focus on the Word's of God as my Master tells me.

"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by Every Word which comes from the mouth of God".

This same Master warns me over and over and over and over and over and over, about religious men whose sole agenda is to turn men away from obedience to the Father.

"Beware", "Take heed", "be not deceived".

If I truly believe in Him I will take Him seriously, yes?

Is. 8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

The Master didn't create a mandate to listen to religious men who "Transgress the Commandments of God by their own religious traditions".

I agree there is a mandate that promotes listening to these religious men, but it didn't come from the Word which became Flesh.

Matt. 18:
19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Matt. 6:23 But if thine eye (Sight, what you see) be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

We are all in different places, I have studies this for years...

2 Facts:

1. Marcion was the one who introduces this, does not by that make it wrong however His reason for it were wrong.

2. All the prophecies in the "OT" are not YET fulfilled, they will be but have not yet been fulfilled... Thus some of it is still future, hard to be "old" when it is still future... Also Psalm 89 and 105 show it;s an eternal Covenant ratified in the Messiah's blood...

There are many diffferent Jewsish groups that accepted and denied differnt books. Who accepts and denies what is of really no consequence, interesting for sure and worth studying, but this does not prove or disprove anything. At one time the "apocrphal" books were included... The first 36 chapters of 1 Enoch are rejected by most....

IMO what matters is apply the Scriptural test of a prophet, in Deuteronomy and Yahshua... If that test is passed, it;s inspired... All translations do not match the manuscripts, even divergent ones... does not mean all or none, must be diligently searched....

Like what you do when you call me "Hebrew Roots" and "Seventh day Adventist" to de-humanize me and make me guilty of their errors?

Well the only trinity verses is one of the most well know forgeries:

Proper and original text from the 1st century:

1 John/Yahanan 5:7-8, "For there are three which testify: The Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three are of one accord."

Altered text from the 4th century:

1 John/Yahanan 5:7-8, "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one."

1 John 5:7-8, “Because there are three who bear witness: the Spirit, and the water, and the blood. And the three are in agreement."

‘Comma Johanneum’ or ‘the Heavenly Witnesses’ refers to a short clause in John 5:7-8 in the Latin Vulgate text which was transmitted since the Early Middle Ages. It was later included in the Textus Receptus (published in 1516) in support of trinity doctrine. The ‘comma’ does not appear in the older Greek text. The comma first appeared in the Vulgate manuscripts of the 9th century. The first Greek (Textus Receptus) manuscript that contains the comma dates from the 15th century. The comma is absent from the Ethiopiac, Aramaic, Syriac, Slavic, Armenian, Georgian, and Arabic translations of the Greek New Testament. The scholarly consensus is that that passage is a Latin corruption that entered the Greek manuscript tradition in some subsequent copies. As the ‘comma’ does not appear in the manuscript tradition of other languages.

Clarke's Commentary

1 John 5:7For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one

There are three that bear record - The Father, who bears testimony to his Son; the Word or Λογος, Logos, who bears testimony to the Father; and the Holy Ghost, which bears testimony to the Father and the Son. And these three are one in essence, and agree in the one testimony, that Jesus came to die for, and give life to, the world.

But it is likely this verse is not genuine. It is wanting in every MS. of this epistle written before the invention of printing, one excepted, the Codex Montfortii, in Trinity College, Dublin: the others which omit this verse amount to one hundred and twelve.

It is wanting in both the Syriac, all the Arabic, Ethiopic, the Coptic, Sahidic, Armenian, Slavonian, etc., in a word, in all the ancient versions but the Vulgate; and even of this version many of the most ancient and correct MSS. have it not. It is wanting also in all the ancient Greek fathers; and in most even of the Latin.
I also have studied the Bible, and language for a long time. the word kaine was also the word Jesus used in the new and old wineskins . so, yes, new covenant means new . not renewed.

and, Jesus introduced the Trinity- " I will pray the Father, and He will send the Comforter.....

did He mean " I will pray myself, and I will send me....?

no, the Godhead. not invented by the catholics. but spoken by Jesus.

Do you believe that God's searches the Heart for the MOTIVE why we do what we do?

MAYBE YOU CAN SAY THAT TO JESUS WHO TEACHES OBEDIENCE UNTO SALVATION AND INSTRUCTING THE PREACHERS WHOM HE WILL SEND TO TEACH OBEDIENCE TO HIS COMMANDS.

16 Now a man came up to Jesus and asked, “Teacher, what good thing must I do TO GET ETERNAL LIFE?”

17 “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, obey the commandments.”

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and TEACHING THEM TO OBEY everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

You Did Not even try to read my post. The NEW COVENANT, is NOT the same as the OLD COVENANT.

Old Covenant is Between GOD and ISRAEL, his Chosen People.

New Covenant is between GOD and His Chosen Children.

Not even Close to the same.

This expression can be applied to the First Covenant and the Last Covenant:

Matthew 20:16 (CSBBible)
16 "So the last will be first, and the first last."

Hebrews 8:6 (ASV)
6 But now hath he obtained a ministry the more excellent, by so much as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which hath been enacted upon better promises.

Hebrews 12:24 (CSBBible)
24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which says better things than the blood of Abel.
I know what you and the religions of the world preach about the New Covenant VCO, but if I want to know the truth about the new Covenant, shouldn't I go to the ONE who created it?

Jer. 31:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

How is this in any way making Void the Law and Prophets?

How is this in any way re-defining sin, or removing the commandments given to me by God?

How were sins forgiven in the "Old Covenant"? Were the people not supposed to go find a Levite Priest and give him an animal? Were these Levites then supposed to perform "works of the Law" which including sprinkling blood on the alter?

How were we to receive the Laws of God in the Old Covenant? Were the people not required to go to the Levites and scribes to be taught about the Will of God?

Did Abraham have God's Laws? the Bible says so. But he wouldn't have had these Levitical "Works of the Law" for justification of sins though, Levi wasn't even born yet. These "works of the Law" were not added to the Laws God gave to Abraham until 430 years later. Abraham was justified "apart for these laws" of justification.

So according to the Bible, isn't it the Priesthood that changed in the New Covenant, and not God's instructions at all?

The New covenant dealt with 2 things.

#1. How God's Laws are administered. (No more Levite Priests to filter His Word)

#2. How sin's are forgiven. (No more Levite Priesthood "works of the Law" for the cleansing of sins.)

Where is your evidence that anything else changed?

Hebrews 8:6 (ASV)
6 But now hath he obtained a ministry the more excellent, by so much as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which hath been enacted upon better promises.

Hebrews 12:24 (CSBBible)
24 and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which says better things than the blood of Abel

Jesus is now our High Priest, no more Levite Priests. He is performing the Priesthood duties, separated unto them, Himself now.

The new Covenant IS this new Priesthood.

You are adding to this New Covenant things the Messiah didn't add.

You ignore the Great Commission.

Matthew 28 NIV
The Great Commission
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

AMPC
The Great Commission
16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated. 17 And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted [that it was really He]. 18 Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.”

You do know that the Assembly HE has built, will BE HIS BRIDE, Before HE actually COMES BACK TO EARTH at the Second Coming don't you? I thing the New City Jerusalem in Heaven will be our home. And how do we get back and forth from out duties hear on earth, and our home in heaven? Maybe that is why Jacob had a dream about a ladder going all the way to heaven?
The New Jerusalem, the Bride of the Lamb
Hi VCO, you are correct about all of your statements. I remember Pastor John MacArthur saying that cities have gates to protect its citizens from harm and for traveling in an out of the city, (paraphrased). What the bible does not tell us is what mode of transportation we will be using. The Millennial Kingdom will be absolutely amazing and one thing for sure is that true believers will be singing the praise of our King and Savior for eternity.

Excellent post thank you and God bless!

Revelations21:4
He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

Revelations12:12-14
12)
It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13) There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. 14) The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

And THIS IS LOVE: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.

If you love me, keep my commands.

WILL GOD SAVE THOSE WHO DON'T LOVE HIM OR THOSE WHO ARE DISOBEDIENT?

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. 7 Therefore do not be partners with them.

During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. 8 Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered9 and, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation FOR ALL WHO OBEY HIM 10 and was designated by God to be high priest in the order of Melchizedek.

Do you believe that God's searches the Heart for the MOTIVE why we do what we do?

I believe after we are SAVED the moment we first genuinely Believe, GOD has the HOLY SPIRIT pour His LOVE into our hearts, Rom 5:5.

It is that LOVE that will produce the desire to Obey Him. Therefore obedience is not part of SALVATION, it is Part of our LOVE.
WERE YOU SENT BY GOD?

Luke 6:43-45 A Tree and Its Fruit “No good tree bears bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thornbushes, or grapes from briers. The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. FOR OUT OF THE OVERFLOW OF HIS HEART , HIS MOUTH SPEAKS..

WHO ARE CLAIMING TO BE “STILL SINNERS” OUT OF THE OVERFLOW OF THEIR HEART???

John 3:34 For the one whom GOD HAS SENT speaks the words of God,

for God gives the Spirit without limit.

This thread and it’s author implies that there’s no need for works to a FAITH ALONE that SAVES(faith void of works).

SALVATION IS NOT BY WORKS IF IT’S APART FROM FAITH (eph 2:8-9) JUST AS FAITH ALONE APART FROM WORKS OF LOVE,OBEDIENCE AND FAITH IS DEAD (james 2:14-26)

IF WE ARE THE BODY OF CHRIST WHOM HE WILL SAVE (eph 5:23) AREN’T WE EXPECTED TO OBEY HIS COMMANDS (john 14:12-15)AND DO HIS WORKS OF SALVATION (1cor 3:9, 12:28 mat 25:21-30, 9:37-38 eph 4:12-13, rom 12: 3-8, 1 tim 4:16) AS WE ARE TO DO HIS WILL HERE ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN (mat 6:10)

John 4:34-38 “My food,” said Jesus, “is TO DO THE WILL OF HIM WHO SENT ME AND TO FINISH HIS WORK. Do you not say, ‘Four months more and then the harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest. Even now the reaper draws his wages, even now HE HARVESTS THE CROP FOR ETERNAL LIFE, so that the sower and the reaper may be GLAD TOGETHER. Thus the saying ‘One sows and another reaps’ is true. I SENT YOU to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and YOU HAVE REAPED THE BENEFITS OF THEIR LABOR.”

John 5:36 “I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the very work that the Father has given me to finish, and WHICH I AM DOING, TESTIFIES that the Father has SENT me.

John 6:39-40 And this is the will of him who SENT me, that I shall lose none of all that he has given me, but raise them up at the last day. For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and BELIEVES IN HIM, SHALL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, and I will raise him up at the last day.”

John 7:18 HE WHO SPEAKS ON HIS OWN does so to gain honor for himself, but HE WHO WORKS FOR THE HONOR OF THE ONE WHO SENT HIM IS A MAN OF TRUTH; there is nothing false about him.

John 9:4-5 As long as it is day, WE MUST DO THE WORK OF HIM WHO SENT ME. Night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

John 17:18 As you sent me into the world, I have SENT THEM into the world.

John 20:21-22 Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I AM SENDING YOU.” And with that he breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and TEACHING THEM TO OBEY EVERYTHING I HAVE COMMANDED YOU. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

ONE SURE WAY TO RECOGNIZE THOSE WHO WERE NOT SENT ACCORDING TO THE VERSES ABOVE IS TO KNOW WHAT THEY DO.

DO THEY PREACH AGAINST THE WORKS THAT GOD HAS PREPARED IN ADVANCE FOR US TO DO BY SAYING THAT: “FAITH ALONE SAVES AND IT IS VOID OF WORKS.”?

DO THEY PREACH THAT; “WORKS ARE WORKS ARE WORKS.”?

THAT OBEDIENCE TO GOD’S COMMANDMENTS CANNOT SAVE EVEN THOSE BELIEVERS WHO CONFESS WITH THEIR MOUTHS THAT JESUS IS LORD AND BELIEVE IN THEIR HEARTS THAT GOD RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD.

DO THEY PREACH THAT SINCE THEY WERE ALREADY SAVED, THEY WILL ALWAYS BE SAVED REGARDLESS OF THEIR WILLFUL AND CONTINUOUS SINNING(manifested by their arguments against those who push for continuous faith and are against willful sinning).

DO THEY PROMOTE SIN BY SAYING THAT THOSE WHO ARE CLAIMING THAT THOSE BORN AGAIN IN THE SPIRIT IS A NEW CREATION AND THEREFORE MUST NOT SIN OR CEASE FROM SINNING, ARE LIARS ACCDG. TO 1JOHN 1:8 WHICH THEY LOVE TO QUOTE BUT REJECTING THE WHOLE TRUTH EXPRESSED IN THE BIBLE? WHICH ONLY PROVES THIS VERSES BELOW TO BE TRUE:

Romans 8:5-9 Those who live according to the sinful nature have their minds set on what that nature desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds SET ON WHAT THE SPIRIT DESIRES. The mind of sinful man is death, but the mind controlled by the Spirit is life and peace; the sinful mind is hostile to God. IT DOES NOT SUBMIT TO GOD’S LAW, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, HE DOES NOT BELONG TO CHRIST.

WOULD THE SPIRIT OF GOD DESIRE SIN?

Galatians 2:17-18 “If, while we seek to be justified in Christ, it becomes EVIDENT that we ourselves are SINNERS, does that mean that Christ PROMOTES SIN? Absolutely not! If I rebuild what I destroyed, I prove that I am a lawbreaker.

Romans 6:15 What then? SHALL WE SIN because we are not under law but under grace? By no means!

1 Corinthians 6:17 But he who unites himself with the Lord is ONE WITH HIM IN SPIRIT.

John 16:13 But when he, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11,15-20 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? DO NOT BE DECEIVED: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. AND THAT IS WHAT SOME OF YOU WERE. But you were WASHED, you were SANCTIFIED, you were JUSTIFIED in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself? Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.” But he who unites himself with the Lord is one with him in spirit. Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

Galatians 6:7-8 DO NOT BE DECEIVED, GOD CANNOT BE MOCKED. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

1 John 2:3-6 We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, “I know him,” but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God’s love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

John 14:31 but the world must learn that I love the Father and that I DO EXACTLY WHAT .MY FATHER HAS COMMANDED ME. “Come now; let us leave.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were STILL SINNERS, Christ died for us.

Romans 6:21-23 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ASHAMED OF? Those things result in death! But NOW that you have been SET FREE FROM SIN and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to HOLINESS, and the result is ETERNAL LIFE. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.

Romans 1:32 Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only CONTINUE TO DO these very things but also APPROVE of those who practice them.

John 15:22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin. Now, however, they have no excuse for their sin.

Psalm 49:13-14 This is the fate of those who trust in themselves, and of THEIR FOLLOWERS, who APPROVE their sayings. Selah Like sheep they are destined for the grave, and death will feed on them. The upright will rule over them in the morning; their forms will decay in the grave, far from their princely mansions.

THEREFORE:

Romans 10:14-15 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? AND HOW CAN THEY PREACH UNLESS THEY ARE SENT? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

Did the "believing Pharisees" "Believe" in the same God as Peter?
ask the Spirit that wrote the Book and deemed it best to describe them as "believers"

God said they were believing. given the context this word 'believing' has a clear and specific connotation: they believe Christ, who He is and what He did.
if you think God got it wrong, He is the one you need to have a conversation with about this.

in fact..

Acts 15:5
But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command [them] to keep the law of Moses.

you guys who say that 'believing Gentiles' must be commanded to keep the Law, y'all better hope you believe in the same God, otherwise this scripture right here condemns you, doesn't it?

In my devotions this morning God's Word explained how He was concerned about our acceptance of Christ's work on the Cross instead of our works and trying for accomplishments.

It is because of Christ’s work on the cross that we can receive the Holy Spirit, to empower the new nature to submit to Him and walk according to the Spirit.

Each born again believer has the daily choice to live and walk by the Spirit or live their life according to the sinful desires of the flesh.

And not telling us, "who" your post is directed to is inconsiderate and annoying to your audience. Like maybe you could add the person's screen name or something please.

It should be painfully obvious to understand. It is the posters that have very long detailed posts usually with dozens of verses of scripture etc. I chose not to use it against any particular post because that would mean having that very long post be part of my post!! Also there is more than one doing it. Should I repeat that for each poster doing it.

if I want to know the truth about the new Covenant, shouldn't I go to the ONE who created it?
Jer. 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
(Jer 31:31 KJV) Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
"I will" is future tense. New Covenant means not the Old Covenant.

(Jer 31:32 KJV) Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
It will NOT be according to the covenant made with the fathers.

(Jer 31:33) It will be written on their hearts and NOT on paper.
It will be written on their hearts and NOT on paper like the Old Covenant was.

This is according to the one who made it. Follow Him

Hi Endoscopy this is very understandable, please excuse my misunderstanding.
Here is the revelant scripture. Note the ones objecting were saying works not grace.

Matthew 7

NIV
True and False Disciples
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
The Wise and Foolish Builders
24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. 26 But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. 27 The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”

AMPC
21 Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.
22 Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name?
23 And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].
24 So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts upon them [obeying them] will be like a [p]sensible (prudent, practical, wise) man who built his house upon the rock.
25 And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.
26 And everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not do them will be like a stupid (foolish) man who built his house upon the sand.
27 And the rain fell and the floods came and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell—and great and complete was the fall of it.
Why would "Believing Pharisees" be placing the SAME YOKE on the Disciples that their fathers couldn't bear? Do you preach the Yoke was the Commandments of God, or were they "teaching for doctrines the commandments of men" as the Messiah said? Were the fathers omitting the weightier matters of the law, then searching far and wide for one convert then making him more of a child of hell than themselves?
why would God write this:

Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said, “The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to keep the Law of Moses.”
(Acts 15:5)
if the truth is that they said "the gentiles must keep the traditions and commandments of men" ?

are you calling God a liar?

sorry dude. fact is that the scripture very clearly completely opposes your thinking here; you are misapplying things Christ said to non-believing pharisees.
suggest you look into "
metanoia" :)

as much as i love scripture, a lot of what is in such posts is i think, superfluous.
i've learned it's best to 'edit' myself in what i say, because it's not as if i couldn't also go on for thousands of words and put quotes of 50 verses into every post. there is a great beauty and usefulness in succinctness.

Guard your steps as you go to the house of God and draw near to listen rather than to offer the sacrifice of fools; for they do not know they are doing evil. Do not be hasty in word or impulsive in thought to bring up a matter in the presence of God. For God is in heaven and you are on the earth; therefore let your words be few. For the dream comes through much effort and the voice of a fool through many words.
(Ecclesiastes 5:1-3)
the case in the point: i could draw out 11 more scriptures and speak several metaphors to the same effect besides. is it necessary; is it wise?
