"For those of you who say it does not happen today". I love how this is prefaced with a "I'm gonna prove them wrong" motivation. Much like a politician using a shooting as a platform to launch into gun control speeches, rather than expressions of sympathy and sadness.
I guess one person in 2000 years and billions of people later isn't convincing for me that "this still happens".

Some context would be helpful. Does the family profess to know Christ or are they a non Christian denomination? In the report there is much said of the miracle but nothing said of God?

Medical misadventures of this nature do certainly occur and God certainly does have a part in the event. Is this what we need in order to confirm scripture or to confirm behaviors we have long held?

There is nothing in scripture that would teach that miracles do not happen. Is this a God given miracle? The news media will never credit God or allow the public credit God for the event.

If it make you feel good then enjoy. Building doctrine on this type of thing is better left to the pope and others that are given to the mysterious.

Wow. Original. I've never heard that before.
Always great to be personally insulted by mods for expressing personal views.
From what I've seen of cessationists they don't deny that things Can happen, only that no one person is gifted in certain things. In fact from what I've observed most actually do believe such things are possible, just not common.
But as often happens on this site, on both sides of any argument, is people making extreme interpretations on differing views as an excuse to discredit them. It's a dishonest tactic.
But regardless of whatever personal insults thrown my way or doesn't change the smug, condescending tone presented on the subject. Which is actually a distraction from what could've been presented less confrontationally and more emphasis on the actual story without degrading it to "I told you so".

Hey, don't be mad because I dish out what you do to so many every day it is not an insult to give comment to your own selected name here " Ugly ". Now you are offended? There is nothing extreme in posting what is seen by a medical doctor, hospital staff a pastor, and son of the dead person come back to life after being prayed for. Are you suggesting God had nothing to do with this?

A man was pronounced dead by his doctors.
50 minutes later, and after prayer from his son and pastor, his heart began to beat again.
How can you claim to believe in God and find reason to default what clearly God has done?
I would hate to be YOU!!

I agree, but generally their fake news is to destroy people, not to reveal what even medical doctors call a miracle.

rim68 they did the same thing to Jesus. scoffers mockers of the religious so-called leaders Read Matthew 23 Jesus really lets them have it :). This video is a great witness of God answering prayer and a miracle done today. Those mockers used words like cessationists or say more context is needed or did the family profess Christ or what denomination are they. LOL is there any better example of a Pharisees?

Ah. So eye for an eye old testament vengeance. Good example being set there.
Go read what I Actually said. I never said posting it was extreme. I never said crediting God for it was extreme.
It seems in your zealousness to be vengeful you managed to not read what I said. Perhaps set your eagerness to "dish out what I give" aside and read my actual words clearly. Doubtful you'll make that effort though.
As far as what I "dish out" I have posted multiple times in the forums, and in numerous private conversations, about this issue. I explained what it stems from and why I have difficulty for it. And multiple times I've apologized for it.
I have spent many years working at correcting it but the source of it is something I can't change.
And before I'm accused of using that as an excuse, I'm not doing that. I'm simply aware of my circumstances, yet knowing them has not prevented me from working on the issue anyways.
So if, as a mod on a site whose religion teaches patience and turning the other cheek, you want to continue going old testament vengeance instead, go ahead.
I'm pretty used to that from Christians.
It's just reinforces my recent choice to abandon my faith anyways. Just look at your op.

God performing a miracle such as raising a family member from the dead is not predicated on whether or not that family professes to know Christ or their religious denomination. Guy was pronounced dead, had no heartbeat for 50 minutes, son prays for God to bring his dad back, a minute later the dead person's heart starts beating. Seems to me that is an adequate context to draw some sort of conclusion to what really happened. I certainly would not classify this as a medical misadventure as the doctor's had nothing to do with what happen after the guy was pronounced dead.

really?

that's a cheap shot

I have major disbelief when it comes to this sort of thing, but snarking at people is not the answer

It's just reinforces my recent choice to abandon my faith anyways. Just look at your op.
well I'm sorry about that. I did that once myself because of Christians years back but I still believed in God. however Christians have never ceased to amaze with their cold hearted calculations about everyone else but themself

I'm not known for pussyfooting around this forum and have garnered some really stupid and nasty comments and undeserved observations from people who think everyone but them has major issues

what some call love, is actually only selfishness and a desire to be loved by everyone so they agree with sentiments that are not in the Bible, correct people who KNOW what scripture states and then moan that the BDF is horrible horrible place and you don't want to go there

I'll stop here.

Ok. So what can we say? some people have the gift of raising the dead? that some can speak in tongues and heal the sick?
If anyone thinks they have this kind of gift, let them put it to practice in the nearest morgue - there'll be one outcome only, failure; people die and they are gone never to come back especially believers:

Isa 57:
1The righteous perish,
and no one takes it to heart;
the devout are taken away,
and no one understands
that the righteous are taken away
to be spared from evil.

2Those who walk uprightly
enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.

Psalms 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his faithful servants.

This video is not evidence for anything.
While God is busy and happy to harvest His people, others think resurrecting them back to chaos is the way to go. All gifts ceased in the 1st century.
