I teach that God is holy and that in Christ there is no sin. Those who are outside of Christ will sin. Those who are actually IN Christ cannot sin. That is how you know where you are!

So you teach a sinful Christ? Or you realize that you are not yet in Christ?

We live as Jesus WHEN we abide in Him. Otherwise we are left to walk in our own strength. I have known both...as all who are being taught of God know. Maturity comes when we are no longer moved from being In Christ.
Yet Peter, Paul, John and other apostles sin and how can you reconcile that? They were actually in Christ not outside...

If we are saved and " In Christ " its our spirit that is born again and cannot sin , not our flesh

Mercy from God is to forgive us our sins because of our weakness in the flesh.
But grace is the empowerment by the Spirit to fulfill the law of God. Grace is not weakness...it is the power that raised Jesus from the dead.

Those who walk in the power of God know it is sufficient to overcome sin. Those who only rely on mercy cannot stop sinning, since they are not yet UNDER GRACE. If you sin then you are still under the law.

How many here, seriously, know this power?

How many know what it is to be dead in Christ?

How many are just indoctrinated by men and have not known the risen lord?

There is yet time to seek the Lord.
Mercy still is one of the attributes of God. He cannot disown himself otherwise, He is not what He is yet God is still merciful to all of us.

Paul said... How can we sin who are dead to sin? Romans 6

John said...he cannot sin because he is born again. 1 John 3

Peter said...1 Pet 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Don't just listen to sermons...read the bible for yourselves.

That is a gnostic lie. We are to walk as Jesus walked...and He didn't sin in His flesh. We are to bear the dying of Jesus to reveal His life in our mortal bodies. Otherwise it is just lies and fables.

All of us is the whole world. We who have received grace will be judged the harder for it. God has no favourites.

Those who believe they live a sinless, without fault or defect, flawless, absolute perfect life (exactly as Jesus lived) 100% of the time are suffering from a terminal case of self righteousness (1 John 1:8-10). :(

His grace empowers us to walk in His power. That is the gospel. Not this...sin and you're saved IN your sins. The soul that sins...it shall die is still in effect. Otherwise there is no law anymore...we are all lawless.

But grace fulfills the law and gives us the same power as Jesus had.

Those who deny Christ and the power He gives to His children are to be turned away from.

Who here is part of the "we" that Peter is speaking about? I would think that most here would claim to NOT BE part of they that he is speaking about. Who is going to be honest here?

1 John 3:9 No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

So who here is born of God according to John (and the bible)?

Define "same power" Jesus told his disciples and apostles "ye shall do greater than these" referring to "miracles" but being "perfect/sinless" is only credited to Jesus as far as mankind,we can do things through faith but "sinlessness" is only through the Holy spirit/Jesus,we aren't sinless after accepting Jesus nor after being baptized we are only given "times" of sinlessness not perfection or sinlessness in entirety.

Define “practices” sin.

Jesus is not coming back for a sinful church...but a bride without spot or wrinkle. Find out how to enter into Christ....or at least stop making outrageous claims of having a sinful holiness.
