Who ends up in the Lake of Fire? Those whom God had judged to be evil and wicked. It is as easy to be admitted into the Lake of fire as it is easy to be evil and wicked. Those who pay no mind to God have an easier time of being evil and wicked, and so they are thrown in. It is harder for those who are on the path of righteousness, for God will not throw those judged to be righteous, into the Lake of Fire.
What happens to those who are in the Lake? Revelation 20:10 gives an inkling of what happens as it says, “and the devil…was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” For those who are thrown into the Lake, it’s a show that never ends and they are a fully participative audience.
So, for those who end up in the Lake there is no further hope for redemption to be saved. God has made His judgment, and that is that.
But let this serve as a warning to those who say ‘Lord, Lord’ but who do not believe. Let this be a warning to those who ignore the cries of the poor and needy, inasmuch as it says in Matthew 25:37-46, “Then the [self-proclaimed] righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, I WAS A STRANGER AND YOU DID NOT WELCOME ME, naked and you did not clothe me, sick and in prison and you did not visit me.’ Then they also will answer, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to you?’ Then he will answer them, saying, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to me.’ AND THESE WILL GO AWAY INTO ETERNAL PUNISHMENT, but the righteous into eternal life.”
We see among us those who claim to be oh so religious, yet they do not walk on the path that God has laid out for them toward righteousness. We see others among us who take the words of the Bible out of context and attempt to deceive the true believers, trying to turn them away from the one true God. They claim in various ways and words to be on the true path of righteousness, yet in reality they are on a slippery slope toward the Lake of Fire; and anyone who follows them will wind up on that same slippery slope, as stampeding cattle head toward a cliff.
The Lake of fire is for members only. Who will those members be from this day forward?
