I should not even have posted a response to your post. No need to argue this subject. So you can have the last word, and I will not respond to this particular subject again.
Thank you, i should have known better than to try to use a biblical example wih you. You twist everthing to fit your agenda.

38But God gives it a body as he has chosen, and to each kind of seed its own body. 39For not all flesh is the same, but there is one kind for humans, another for animals, another for birds, and another for fish.40There are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is of one kind, and the glory of the earthly is of another. 41There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for star differs from star in glory

We are not just spirit but will be given resurrected bodies. It may not have muscles or blood but it will eat things like fish for Jesus did after His resurrection.
It will not have blood, because I think the blood will be replaced by pure spirit. But in order to eat things, I believe you have to have muscles etal.

He was physically saved from the flood, that in no way proves he was spiritually saved and headed to heaven.
What does any of that have to do with the symbology of the ark?

None, but thats for trying to take an OT symbol of a spiritual fact and trying to twist it to support your theory of a works based gospel.
Noah's Ark is very illustrative of our salvation and our assurance of salvation, everyone in the Ark returned safely to yonder distant shores. The promises of the Lord are "sure"

2Corinthians1:20-22 - Assurance of Salvation
20) For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
21) Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us,
22} set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

God bless!

But the part with:
a) rose again in the flesh
b) seen by others in the flesh
c) seated next to the Father in the flesh

is a different kind of flesh than in the first part of your sentence, right? A spiritual flesh, i.e. not biological, not "fleshy" as ours.
Will a spiritual flesh be able to eat real earthly food and digest it?

A spiritual flesh is obviously able to transform to be material and then return back to immaterial form.

I am not sure if the transformation to the material form means also that all organs are in place and work like in us (digestation, breathing, blood flow...). Who knows.

A person that is resurrected to eternal life will have both a physical body and a spiritual body. The bible talks about eating in Revelation, mentioning that there will be a banquet with the choicest foods.

What Jesus has prepared for us and our bodies that are suitable for eternity will be absolutely amazing. Yes we can eat fish or not eat fish. We will no longer be subject to the effects of the curse, paradise restored, not fully yet.
Jesus Appears to the Disciples
36) While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
37) They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost.
38) He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds?
39) Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”
40) When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet.
41) And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, “Do you have anything here to eat?”
42) They gave him a piece of broiled fish,
43)
and he took it and ate it in their presence.
45) Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.

The connection between matter and energy is not as large as some believe.

Just examine how a photon can be an em wave and particle at the same time.

Science only understands a few grains of sand on the beach of God's wisdom

What do you base that on?

I believe we will have a spiritual body. IE: a body of flesh and bones (like Jesus') made alive by spirit.

Agreed, God's wisdom will far surpass and thing we can imagine at our present time.

We will have exactly that type of body. Yes, it can be considered to be a spiritual physical body. We are in agreement on this.

How is that different than the body we have now?

Would you call your current body a spiritual body?

Our current bodies are made alive by soul (nephesh), just like animals.

Gen 1:
21) And God created great whales, and every living creature (nephesh) that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Gen 2:
7) And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul (nephesh).

Would you call your current body a spiritual body?
No.

1 Cor 15:
42) So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
43) It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
44) It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

We will get our spiritual bodies when Jesus Christ returns.

You always have to remember that if you have a mind that good works is a burden, and you do not have time for it, and you just can't be bothered etc., then maybe your new person in Christ, the one that loves to do the works of Christ, and follow him, was not instigated in the beginning.

It's just a maybe, but maybe if you have these thoughts, you were not really saved to start with?
One who has GOD's LOVE poured into His Heart, WILL LOVE those kind of good works. I remember when I was in the Prison Ministry, I was excited to be about the LORD's work. My wife said one time as I got home from the Prison, "I love to see you coming through the door, because you are almost as if you are walking six inches off the floor."

Hi Vco, yes God's love is our motivator.

The problem with benhurs fictional story is no Christian will ever have the mind set that ministry or works is a burden, it just will not happen. He loves to invent fictional stories which will never ever happen. And then tell you that if you have these thoughts then "maybe" this fictional character was never really saved to start with.

Its all fiction and all what if, what if, what if, and it drives me crazy, complete nonsense.

yaaaaa

one of the most common ridiculous arguments against Gods promise of eternal security to all who believe is

"If you believe in eternal security you believe you can sin all you want"

that completely ignores the new God given heart and quickened spirit... it is a very worldly way to think to suggest such a thing

a saved born again believer is now a new creature

an adopted son/daughter of God

when they act according to the flesh that doesnt register "im doing what i want and getting away with it"

it registers as "failure"

and God chastens His own children

we want to walk according to the spirit and NOT the flesh at ALL points

but when we do sin
it is a failure

not "what we want"

thank you so much Jesus for being my advocate

i know i have no power to save myself
