Some on this board refer to the 'King James' version of the Bible as the 'St James' version. Personally, I'd find it difficult to claim that King James VI or I is a saint. He was a homosexual, a murderer, and he wrote/plagiariazed his version of the Bible to appease political dissadents/factions in his realm and not to present God's word.

I find it hard to listen to any thoughts or writings of King James or Henry VIII as they were both treacherous murderers who used God's Scripture and Christ's Church for their own benefit/power/purposes.
