decompose (Thanks!

I watched something today about the military picking up a 12 - 15 foot dead giant during the Afghanistan war. Apparently it killed some soldiers before they brought in some bigger guns and killed it. It wouldn't surprise me. Either these kind of things (aliens, hybrids, monster-type creatures) have been happening for real (currently my thoughts), or they haven't but someone wants us to believe they have been.

That is pretty bad with the trespasser. Good that you finally were able to move him on, though! :) )

putrefy (I am inclined to believe that hybrids are currently being created and will at some point (possible now) look indistinguishable to us. I think there are interesting days ahead! If there are indeed giants, we need to stock up on slingshots and acquire skills like David. Unfortunately, I am a terrible aim. I hate to admit that, but it's true!)

deteriorate (Yeah, I agree. I think there are different types, so some are monster-type abominations, whereas others are super-soldiers who may be indistinguishable from you or I. I think if there are giants, we may need more direct intervention from God? ;)

These days, I think maybe a crossbow or bow might be easier to build and use than a slingshot? 'Though the bigger problem may well be identifying who the enemy even is. At least in David's time, it would have been easier to identify who the enemies were, although I guess he did face enemies from within also).

(Until next time. Hopefully no more interlopers will transgress onto your territory! :) )

wither (I am all for intervention from God! No way am I tackling anything like that otherwise lol.

Well, we've got it going on, cause' I have a bow right nearby (I can see it as I type) and a crossbow too! Which one do you want?

When I was a young teen I was shooting bow and arrow for the first time in the yard with my dad. I got a nasty bruise from the bow string, but the next day at school everyone thought I was cool lol.)

shrivel (Lol. Definitely. Listening to this video, the thing apparently killed a number of soldiers who would have been armed with some pretty good, modern weaponry. Although it was probably several feet taller than Goliath, but still I doubt I'd muster the courage to say to it what David said! :p

But I'll take the crossbow, please! :p

Lol. I had minor bruising from a bow once also, but I don't think I ever really hit near the bullseye. Crossbow would hopefully avoid all that inconvenience! :p )

frazzle (We might need flaming arrows for these creatures. As a short person, I'm 5'1", most people have a tall stature to me lol. I hope I won't be a liability to our battle. Although, some think David may have been short since he was in his youth when he took on Goliath. So maybe I'm okay.

One pistol grip crossbow with arrows coming up!

Btw, I apologize for my errors. I usually notice when I make errors and don't mention it. If I did, I'd probably spend half my time mentioning my errors! But, I see that I put the apostrophe after cause instead of before in my last message. What in the world? lol smh@myself :p )

frayed (I think being short is an advantage when battling giants, as the giant will likely pay even less attention to the short ones. Probably you should say something sufficiently insulting to the giant, so as to make him laugh gloatingly, and then while he is still laughing, shoot him in the forehead with one of your arrows. I just hope the arrow is fast enough and sturdy enough to pierce a giant's skull. Also, you need to be a good shot. I guess you could aim for the giant's eye, but I don't know if that would kill him, and I'm pretty sure it might make him angry. Also, I'm no expert on giants, but I'm pretty sure a giant's eye is a smaller target than a giant's forehead... Unless it literally is a four-headed giant, or possibly a cyclops, but those are probably monsters for another fairy tale...

If the arrows are flaming, they just need to be flaming with something not so easily extinguished. I'd hate for you to shoot the giant in the t-shirt or something, only for him to put out the fire so-caused, by smothering it with his enormous hands.

Don't worry about your misplaced apostrophe. I'm forever finding errors in my work 1 minute after the timer runs out for me to be able to correct it! :p )

tattered (I think you'd make an excellent strategist. Me, I'm like let's just go into battle and kill the Whangdoodles [or giants in this case] with the weapons we have. Losing is not an option. You, on the other hand, detail all the problems that could go wrong due to weapons not being trustworthy or powerful enough or some other issue that might be a weakness on our side. Since you have a keen eye for things that could, or probably will, go wrong you are best for making a proper plan of action. A master plan. You're sure to keep us alive!

Some tribes, like the Paiute, have legends of giants and of driving them out. If they did so with the weaponry they had back then, surely we can succeed. We might have to train like a warrior though :p)

shredded (I read that the giants also had six fingers. So you will have to be careful with the additional tactical ability the giant is able to accomplish with his extra fingers. Also extra toes, although I'm not sure an extra little toe would add much to strategic advantage. And not to mention the giant's strength! Hmmm, I am also thinking perhaps you had better wear my level 5 lab coat to ensure you are optimally shielded! :) )

wheat (Yes, I've read that also. Maybe too many fingers and toes is a bad thing. It might work against them.
No matter how many squats I do, I'll never be as strong as a giant. Wisdom, skills, and forethought are a must.
You are very kind to let me wear your lab coat. Just wearing it will raise my adrenaline! Defeat will not happen!)

chaff (I think too many fingers and toes is a bad thing, because it means one is a giant? I even read that the greeting of one of the tribes with "How" and showing a hand was to prove that they were five-fingered men and not six-fingered giants! Nonetheless, I am sure with your wisdom, skills and forethought, and my level 5 lab coat, we shall be victorious against the giant!)

hull (lol Yes, of course! Being a giant is not smashing at all.
One of my favorite places to go here (Woolaroc) has a statue of a Native American who greets you as you come into the place with their hand up. I always think about that legend when I see that statue.
As chieftess, I feel safe and confident that with the blessing of the Lord and with your excellent strategic skills and lab coat that our life is not in danger!)

husk (Yes! Being a giant is not metaphorically smashing, but possibly is literally smashing. I wonder how Native Americans defeated the giants? I think people were pretty brave and skilled in those times.

Definitely we will need the blessing of the Lord to dispatch any giant. I hadn't seriously thought much about David and Goliath, at least not in terms of really, seriously, actually fighting a giant, until I heard about this one. It might be all a lie, but the thought of a 15' tall thing, and all the strength and extra bone that would go along with that makes me think I probably wouldn't be as bold as David was... But God did promise David would be king, so David did have that in his favour - it is hard to be king if one is killed, even by a giant...)

pod (I had a vivid dream once about a giant. It was walking around lifting roofs off houses and looking inside. I could hear people scream. I don't know what the point of the dream was, but then I guess dreams rarely make sense.

I think David probably was also given confidence by the Lord of the matter. Have you ever had to do something that felt daunting, but then you had a strange feeling of great emotional strength and confidence of ability? I had that happen recently with the RV situation. The enforcement officer told me that I had to remove the persons stuff from the backyard to the yard next to here (due to it causing me to be in violation). I was very uncomfortable and maybe even afraid since these were shady people, but the morning came when I had to do the task. I got it done (not easy, they put so much stuff back there - heavy stuff, appliances, tires, parts, etc. etc.). Doing this ended up feeling catathartic. I know that the perps weren't giants, but maybe the same blessing of confidence takes place. Too bad I didn't have your lab coat that day!)

cuticle (Wow. That sounds like the BFG. I can't remember if I ever had a dream about a giant.

Yeah, I think God promising David that he would be king would have been a great encouragement. I can't think of when I ever had to do something so daunting as fighting a philistine giant, or removing the clutter of a modern-day philistine from my backyard to the neighbours...)

nails (I often have interesting dreams. When I was about 5, I had a dream similar to the movie Tremors...except Tremors wasn't released as a movie for about another 4 more years. I should have been a writer. I could just write stories from my dreams. That's how Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde came about. From what I've heard, Robert Louis Stevenson wrote that book after having a dream.

Btw, I did not dump the stuff on the neighbors lol. I would never do that! It is a vacant yard and I was given permission by the enforcement officer to put it there to get me out of the violation (caused by the perps). Then he hired people to haul the stuff off, which took several regular sized pickup truck loads. He charged the perps for the trouble. What a mess! People are strange. I couldn't sleep at night knowing I'd done something like that to someone.)

hammers (Lol. Now that you mention it, carting all that interloper's junk from your house to your neighbour's does sound like a pretty strange way to resolve the problem. I had in mind the junk provided some way for the trespasser to claim right of access, and once separated, the guy would have come back to pick it up, but now that I realise you moved it all to an empty yard, it makes much more sense! :p Wow! That was a lot of stuff, if it took several pick-ups!!! People definitely are very strange!

I read an interesting short story once, about a writer who wrote stories (as is often the case with writers, I guess). But in this short story, for each story he wrote, his chosen publisher got back to him to say he had plagurised the story word for word from somebody else. It turned out that someone was stealing his stories, going back into the past via time machine and publishing them first - just a year or so prior. So all the great stories he would have written were claimed by somebody else.

I think dreams are very interesting. I haven't looked into it so much, but I remember reading somewhere a claim that some of the great music wasn't written so much as recited/remembered from what the associated great composer heard in his dreams. Likewise, I believe some of Nikola Tesla's inventions came about because he dreamed the ideas, or somehow saw the theory for it in a vision. I wondered until recently if some of my dreams were being stolen, or suppressed. It's weird to think this way, I acknowledge, but I could not remember having had a dream for ages. Except for short periods after heavy rain and/or storms. I considered whether it was possible for my mobile phone or chemtrails to have had a hand in the effect (especially given the effect of storms/rain). I don't have my phone near me when I sleep, but there's not much I can do about (presumably government-sponsored) chemtrails. Then all of a sudden, about 6 months ago (maybe more?), this feeling seemed to go away, and I have dreams every so often. Sometimes, when I forget not to have my phone nearby, I feel as if it has influenced my dream somehow, or perhaps spied on it? Perhaps its just paranoia, though? :p )

tools (Yes, I was surprised at how much stuff they moved into the backyard. They also moved stuff into the vacant yard [a boat and some kind of big long metal things, etc.]. I think that they chose the vacant yard as a place to squat, but because it doesn't have an electric pole they parked their RV into my backyard. They parked it oddly close to the electric pole. I called the police while I was still out of state. They weren't much help at all, but at least I got them to tell the perps to leave the electric pole alone. And fortunately they did. The city enforcement officer was a lot more help, but he had to go through legal means and that took 3 months. I think the enforcement officer's men took out 6 or 7 pickup truck loads out and then they hauled off the boat and then the RV. Just imagine my relief when I seen that thing leaving the backyard!

That's an interesting story! Speaking of authors, not long after our interaction yesterday it hit me that you said something clever that had went over my head at the time you said. I realized it shortly after though. In late January is when I first mention the word Whangdoodle here [Roald Dahl]. We've been Whangdoodling for 5 months and we switched to giants recently and you mentioned The BFG [Roald Dahl]. We aren't just Whangdoodling, we are keeping a Road Dahl theme! Anyway, I thought your mention of another Roald Dahl work was clever of you!

That's very interesting! I wonder if anyone else has noticed the same connection? I do think dreams are more powerful than most people think. In the Biblical days, God would sometimes communicate with dreams. I often have had very vivid dreams and then something would happen afterward [almost always bad]. For example, 2 years ago I had the most disturbing dream I've had in my life. In my dream, my dad was possessed. I can explain it in an understandable way, but his actions were terrifying. It was so vivid that when I woke up, I still thought I was in the dream...except I thought it was really happening. Once I realized that I had just been dreaming, I stopped being concerned. Not long after this dream, I was out of state and while I was out of state my dad fell. He laid on the ground not quite 24 hours. When I didn't know what was going on with him, I called the police for a wellness check. They found him and called the ambulance which took him to the hospital. Well, there he claimed he'd been laying on the ground for days (3 days, he said). An investigation was opened against me. I was talked to by case workers and an APS investigator. Then I received a paper stating their findings...Probable Cause of Neglect and Exploitation! I was stunned. Even though I didn't agree about the neglect, I could understand it. But, I couldn't understand the exploitation part. I still don't know where they got that at. Fortunately, dad did not want press charges...but he continued to insist that he laid on the ground for 3 days. Anyway, I just thought it was interesting that I had that incredibly vivid and disturbing dream before that ordeal happened, which was a very stressful ordeal, I might add. I certainly wasn't as pleased as pie lol.)

implements (Wow! I can imagine you were relieved. With that much stuff, they were likely looking to move somewhere permanently!

Ha! I'm glad you got the reference to Roald Dahl. I thought you would... I was just wondering if anything in his books were real... I mean, I know Whangdoodles are, obviously! The world is currently suffering an infestation of them, and if it wasn't for your world-record skills in Whangdoodle lassoing and defenestration, I think we might have been overrun already. Some are even saying that the newly politicised virus X/birdflu/resurrected covid 19 are not simply tools of the Deep State apparatus to steal another election via means of postal vote fraud, but are in actual fact simply the symptoms one experiences if bitten by an undefenestrated Whangdoodle, which tend to be more aggressive and territorial - and yes, even toxic! - than the defenestrated ones. But I was thinking giants. In the legends, giants are pretty evil creatures. But I don't believe they would have been stomping about England kidnapping children unnoticed in the last century! :p

I don't know if anyone else notices the same connections as I about dreams. These sort of comments I largely keep to myself, so as not to be thought of as mad. Several times, I have had dreams about people I hadn't seen for many years, and a week or so later, have seen and talked to them in person. Once or twice, I have had dreams about something strange happening to someone before a significant event in their life. That said, I've also had strange dreams about people and significant events don't happen in their lives! :p Also just regular dreams that seem to be for fun! :D I haven't deciphered what all of the purposes are for dreams, but certainly God has used them in the past to communicate

Your ordeal sounds a very sad one indeed! I sympathise with you, although I can't say I have experienced anything like it!)

gizmos (I agree about dreams. We mustn't be too hasty to make a connection between dreams and real life. That particular dream though, was unusually vivid and the uneasy frightening feeling it left is still memorable. So it was one of those instances where I couldn't help but think that the timing of it was interesting. I'm an adult, I should be that shaken by a dream lol. But, we certainly must be careful. Some people will work any occurrence into a supernatural event. I try to steer clear of an overactive imagination. One time at work, several people were talking about ghosts and telling their stories. Then they looked at me to hear my ghost story. I responded, "What? I don't believe in ghosts!" They all were appalled and really gave me grief about this. Actually, I do believe demons exist and if people are experiencing ghosts (or aliens) then it's actually demons. I didn't explain myself though...I didn't really have a chance, these people were so convinced about ghosts.

I am thankful for your clever input! Forgive me for the times when I have missed your subtle clever input!
Hasn't there been several strains of the virus since this thing began? Where I live no one really pays attention and we don't even know when a new strain is supposedly ravishing the nation. I mostly know about it 'cause I go out of state sometimes. I flew out of state in the peak of the pandemic. There were only about 5 of us waiting at the gate. When we dispersed on the plane, it felt like flying alone. The airports felt like being in that movie Night of the Comet. Eerily dead. When I returned to my state of Oklahoma after about 2 months, you couldn't really tell a pandemic had happened. Oklahoma quickly moved on. It's that way today. You mention the virus here and people will laugh. And you don't wear a mask here, you'd look absolutely silly.
We don't have any legends of giants here though. We do have legends of little people...but I've never seen one and I lived in the area where they were supposed to be. I guess they hide really well. Giants can't do that. Bad politicians can't either....but unfortunately, they get away with their crimes.

I had never been in trouble in my life, so I wasn't happy with that ordeal at all or having a probable cause against me. So now you know that you've been Whangdoodling with a "bad" person! I try to cover it up with pies and smashingness though! :giggle:)
