No God is not a warrior, that is the God of the Muslim faith.
Exodus 15:3
Yahweh is a man of war. Yahweh is His name.

Revelation 19:11;14
And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Sounds like a warrior to me. 🤔

I do wonder why Hamas refuses to release all the hostages. I mean what value are they to them? They are of main concern in Israel's negotiation terms.

Oh wait, never mind. I forgot. Hamas does not want peace, for anyone. They couldn't care less.

2 Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

Acting in good faith is the ideal that must be set even if not adhered.
He was not an architect so rather than accusing him of being a fake architect they would simply tell him he's no architect at all.
Nope! They believed his deception and thought more highly of him than he deserved. Of course, he also pretended to be a marine biologist, and for a while, that paid off too. For a while.

Keep living in dreamland... it's very un-realistic. Idealistic usually is.
Yep... @HeIsHere has said more to warrant a response, but there comes a point when your precious time becomes more valuable than trying to open closed ears.

War sucks. It causes insane amounts of damage. But, in a fallen world, it is sometimes necessary. And, I will "conflate" self-defense with nations defending themselves. I've made my points, and reasonable and realistic people here do not need the arguments I've made to be convinced of what their common sense already tells them.

Hornet, don't waste your time dude.

If you read it and don't dismiss it because it's not convenient for your POV (you know whom I'm talking to here), yes He does :)

Thank you for showing your dismissive attitude.
I will keep that in mind for future reference.

Well, it is good to be idealistic. You live in a Pollyanna-type world of no shades of gray.
Do you think that the US was "wrong" to go to war after Japan attacked us in 1941? Should the US simply cowed down and begged them "please don't invade us, now that you know we won't fight back" ??

Keep living in dreamland... it's very un-realistic. Idealistic usually is.
Negotiations are not about being idealistic, it is about being pragmatic and realistic, but somehow people cannot really discuss on a theoretical level around here, it always becomes personal.

Does God change? Thought He said He is the same yesterday, today, and forever?
I quoted verses from the past and the coming future. Do you think His overall character changes just because we're living in a modern age?

I have not made it personal.... I'm discussing my beliefs, as you are.
Please tell me how you would negotiate with a group/nation that has set as their goal to wipe your nation off the face of the earth? Tell them they can wipe half your nation off the earth, if they leave the other half alone? Or do you say, "our goal is to live in peace. You leave us alone, and we will leave you alone. If you attack us, we will respond with overwhelming force".....

How would YOU have "negotiated" with Hamas, had you been Netanyahu ?

Some people don't think that everything should be done to make sure the offending "party" is able to attack again.

Some even make this retroactive and take it back to WWII, saying the US was
wrong for dropping the bomb, if not on Hiroshima, certainly on Nagasaki.

It seems any civilian deaths are wrong to them, though they may scoff at the idea that
Hamas uses its citizenry as human shields, while making excuses for them doing so.

You put a like on this so that makes it personal, since conversing with me is a waste of time.

Metaphorically and anthropomorphism
Look them up.

Pretty sure Jesus did not come back literally riding a white horse nor will He.

The key word being "literally" with regards to His returning since you seemed shocked. o_O

Caught that.
Reminds me of the Jews who don't believe Jesus was the Messiah, despite the prophesies in the OT.

If you want to believe ever single word in the scripture is to be understood at a literal level that is your choice but I am pretty sure that was not the reason the Jews rejected Christ Jesus, in fact they were too literal in their understanding thinking the Messiah would relieve them of Roman control.

Those "negotiations" should only be done with force to disable their ability to do warfare and their territory should be occupied at all times which is what Israel is most likely going to do if they are serious about protecting their country.

That's a logical fallacy. Not believing every single word in the Scripture at a literal level exactly the same way
as you does not mean anyone believes every single word in the Scripture is to be understood at a literal level.
Funnily enough, though, I have "met" those who claim to believe that every single word in the Scripture is to
be understood at a literal level when it is obvious nobody at all really believes that it is even truly possible.
