Please keep in mind this is not really your fault. You probably didn't know this would happen, and you are probably surprised at the diatribe arthurfleminger is spewing in your thread. Nobody here is blaming you... Well, except maybe arthurfleminger.
Just chalk it up as a lesson learned. Any thread about which denomination you are a member of will attract people like this.

Why would I want to be a member of a church that yells at people as much as you do? Jesus went around teaching, not berating.
(There are other points, like "Why would I want to be a member of a church that says I MUST be married?" and "Why would I want to be a member of a church that doesn't believe miracles still happen?" but the part about berating people all the time is the most pressing matter here.)

Interesting... There is one church organization very famous for having a standard against musical instruments in church.
If you're a member of that particular church organization, you should know it's not anywhere NEAR 2,000 years old. In fact it is comparatively young (no matter what they claim.)

Jesus was clear, He founded His church, not thousands of different churches, not your church, not my church, but His church.
That's very clear in Scripture. There are hundreds of different countries in the world, many different armies, but they are are all different/opposed to each other. And it's the same way with so called Christian churches, all opposed to each other. Jesus only founded one church and promised it's followers 2 thousand years ago that He'd be with them til the end of time. If the founder of your church/denomination is a man/woman then it can't be the church that Jesus founded. Simple concept.
I emphasise that Jesus founded His church, only one church. So, if a man/woman founded the denomination/church you belong to, it's not the church that Jesus founded, it's not the true church/denomination. If your church/denomination was founded by a man/woman after Jesus founded His church, it's just not Jesus' church.

So, for those of you who boast about your denomination/church, Jesus only founded one church. Where did the human founder of your church get the authority from Jesus to found their church? Just wonderin?????????????
