Pickles, Indeed you are so Blessed! Im happy that you like filipino food and I am surprise that u make them too. asian loves noodles. we have a noodles here thats called rock noodles. it came from my province. we also have a noodle that we wrap in banana leaves sprinkle with vinegar. its really good!

we live in a country where roasted chicken is everywhere. we love siomai and dumplings too. sounds good!

The banana leaves sound wonderful, Ill have to try and find some.
I am trying to learn to cook with grape leaves, as I have several grape vines growing in my garden.

I love to make meals with rice noodles alot, often useing chicken and vinegar.
I make alot of my own vinegars, blackberry, rassberry and crabapple vinegers.
They taste wonderful when added to most any food.

Tonight I roasted a turkey, the last one I bought on sale near thanksgiving.
I cooked it mostly for the meat, as we love making sandwitches with it.
Im going to be busy trying to get some work done around the house the next few days, so we can eat this turkey for days.
But tonight it was the trukey, gravey, potatoes, corn and sweet potatoes that were the best.
I love reading about all the different foods we all eat here.
I also love chicken and dumplings!

wow I wish I know how to make vinegar and harvest ingredients from my own backyard. I have to make a recipe experiment but they say that my noodles is for side dish. )) so I had to come up with a new recipe. taste really good my bro says. but I think I have to gain the approval of my cooking class tomorrow. I will put the photo and ingredients tomorrow.

Haven't eaten yet but I guess I can tell what I will be having.


The boyfriend and I along with several others are getting together in a couple of hours to cook for our local volunteer firefighters in the county. It's sort of a thank you for what they do. We are having catfish and hush puppies. I hate fish so ill be ordering pizza

Oooohhh, hush puppies are good though, I'd skip the catfish and go for the hush puppies. lol Pizza and hush puppies sounds like a good dinner...

I'm a poor college kid lol. All I have is bread, chips, and cheese, and butter. I'm probably just going to make myself some nachos tonight. Would any of you happen to know a good recipe for nacho cheese sauce?

Subway is always good and I'm not a big fan of Little Ceasars (except for that awesome crazy bread), but that new deep dish pizza they have was so good, I was surprised. lol

Lol yeah thats what I tried for the first time, their deep dish. So good :] the commercials made me get one :]

Marinated pork chops, cream potatoes, and corn out of the can.

Tonight was simple, just a big salad with everything in it.
