i dont know brother. ive read other accounts from the 1800s of expeditions were villagers would have demons and the adventurers would use salt and something and do a ritual to drive out the demon. sounds risky.

I do know ive heard of people driving out a demon in my town back years ago. there was a man that had one and they all got around in a circle and sang a hymn about the blood of Jesus and it left him.

me personally ive seen one lady that had a demon and it was just like what we have been talking about, she was on drugs. we all gathered around here and prayed and she would say, 'stop!' this obviously wasnt her that was saying it. she came up there wanting prayer and wanting help with this thing but the demon kept saying things like 'stop' and 'no'. any way, there was one elderly lady that started pleading for the blood of Jesus and the demon left her. you could see it on her face that it had left.

I appreciate what you said and think it good that you had the opportunity to pray for that woman. Like we were talking about, drugs sometimes opens people up to demon possession. She was blessed to have someone who could cast out that demon.

The previous post was about those who were unbelievers, who claim to do the same.
I don't have a "Deliverance ministry", but have seen a couple people delivered from demon possession. Last summer was the most recent one. The guy approached me because he knew that I was a Christian. He got Saved
so the demon quit tormenting him.
Prior to that, this man was obsessed with an online YouTube ministry that has a works based false gospel. The services of those unbelievers focussed exclusively on demon possession and that's why they were obviously unsuccessful. It's like Catholic priests using holy water or a shawnan using salt and incantations.

God's Holy Spirit indwells believers in Christ, so that's why I see how your reference to the crucifixion/ blood of Jesus, as the scriptures describe, would cast it out of her. If she got saved, it will not be able to return. She is no longer it's home, but rather the temple of the Holy Spirit.

The Europeans and Americans make a big deal about the Chinese word Chi. It just means energy. I don't speak Mandarin, but I've been told that context and other words give meaning to what type of energy, ie electricity.

What he was doing is different from legit treatment like trigger point therapy. I won't have anything to do with the Eastern energy techniques like he was doing. As a young person in my early teens, my teachers lead me into that stuff. In class we were supposed to shout Chi!!! when throwing a strike with emphasis, etc. I renounced the Taoistic teaching as occult when I got saved. Then the Lord answered my prayer and gave me the best teacher in the state in Shotokan and Arnis.

I was tired when I wrote this and just wanted to say they there is nothing wrong with energy/power/strength, or even shouting an exclamation at the end of a workout routine.

Later I prayed for God to help me find a good teacher who did not get into any Eastern religious garbage. He did and I was blessed with the best teacher in my region. He was the senior teacher in the East under the founder of my favorite martial art. Then he taught me everything he knew as his last student. Martial Arts are worldwide and in every culture. Some are sports and others designed for self defense. Like so many other subjects, people tend to insert portions of their religious views into those unrelated practices. That's why every secular biology class integrates darwinism into their curriculum. It is a religion masquerading as science. There's nothing wrong with studying Biology/ Life, but most teachers are very religious and teach their fake religion, evolutionism, as a fact. The same happens in other things like many of the Eastern fighting arts.
