I don't know about "the left," but what bugs me about it is it's a piece of emotional manipulation intended to drum up political support for Trump. That wasn't clear to me at first but now it's clear as day.
Of the 4 people I know that saw the movie, 3 are not Trump supporters, and this movie did nothing to persuade them otherwise. One was already a Trump supporter, and no movie would sway him otherwise.

I don't see the Trump connection. Not in the faintest. In the aftermath, however, I do see how blatant the media and our godless mainstream culture has become that they would even ruthlessly bash a movie that could help bring awareness to human trafficking.

Well, you didn't watch the clip I posted above showing Jim Caviezel and Tim Ballard screening the film with Trump. And Caviezel telling Brian Kilmeade that Trump is Moses, the one who can save us. I can almost guarantee this will be a big part of Trump's campaign. If he does make child trafficking part of his platform, that would be a good thing if he follows through. I just don't like being manipulated by people with an agenda to vote a certain way. It smells to me of a bait and switch.

So as long as people are on here preaching the gospel of Trump, I'll be here reminding them Trump isn't the answer.
Since you brought politics into it.... who do YOU think is the answer, politically? Just curious.

People have made EVERY topic of discussion into a political debate. It doesn't matter what the discussion is about it instantly becomes a political discussion.

I'm surprised that Calvinism vx Armenian discussions haven't been politicized yet.

LOL, I didn't make it political, Jim Caviezel did.

The Jewish people didn't like the idea of Cyrus being used to deliver the people of Israel out of Babylon either.
Trump is no savior any more than Cyrus. He's an instrument in the hands of the Almighty who is free to sovereignly choose as He wills.

I'm not terribly familiar with Q Anon..... what is the huge problem with it? It appears they believe there is a cabal, or group of conspirators that are trafficking in children, sexually.... is that about it? They believe that George Soros and the Rothchilds are possibly involved? Along with many Hollywood types and political types?
Isn't there quite a bit of evidence that Jeffery Epstein had a "resort" on an island where under-aged children were used for sexual purposes?
Isn't it true that quite a few prominent politicians and Hollywood folks visited that island?

Or, is all of that simply made up from whole cloth?
QAnon is a made-up term by the Lamestream Fake News, so they can use false flag events to label as terrorists those who support dealing with the child traffickers and pedophiles (in "elite" positions, or otherwise). You can tell when someone is lying or ignorant because they use the term QAnon. Watch this space later - I seriously believe the LSM will try to claim QAnon is a terrorist group as things heat up. They can't claim that Q is a terrorist group, 'cause it's run by the US military (lol!) So they have to do the next best thing, and go after ordinary folk who are explaining it is legitimate (the anons).

Q is actually a military operation run by the US government, to try to "wake up" the people who couldn't see the world was run by satanic Communist pedophiles (at face value - I believe it will play a more sinister role in future that Christians are aware of, but we're not there yet). The way the "truth psyop" was structured was for people who are not well known or famous (just ordinary people who realised Q was a military operation) - called anons - to do a little bit of research about the questions asked (i.e. crumbs dropped), and figure out and explain what was really going on. The way that people could tell it was a military operation was that it was linked to Donald Trump - there were clues in the Q posts about things that would happen later, such as the grounding of the Evergreen ship in the Suez, or things that Donald Trump would say in future. If it were not a military operation, Donnie or his confidants were going to a lot of trouble to mess with people's heads.

As we see with the Sound of Freedom, the pedos don't like that the population is being told about their sick and evil little schemes, and are doing all they can to oppose it and downplay it. The Anons have known about the pedo-rings since before Pizza Gate where the Lame Stream told everyone to shut up 'cause there's no such thing as a huge pedo ring running the world.

It's certainly true Epstein had a pedo island, and there were all sorts of folks who visited - from Bill Clinton to Hollywood stars to judges. Epstein had dirt on pretty much everyone in high places, and to get to those places, they had to be dirty. Problem is, that's only a small part of the evil that went on (lots of people have islands nearby to Epstein's - e.g. Brandon and Suckerberg - and who's to say these weren't all pedo islands also?) As we're seeing, the problem extends across the world, to the British crown, to Big Pharma, to the militaries of the world - everywhere. The world is steeped in corruption and pedophilia. And the Q-psyop is being used to get people aware of the problem, so when it starts getting resolved in the open (lots has been going on behind the scenes), people will be on board and won't think it's some sort of political witch-hunt (which is how the Communists are trying to spin it). Since when has abusing kids been part of any political party?

Then there's places like Thailand....where prostitution is so normalized and some girls start so young that it is pedophilia....only when it's pre-pubescent is it considered "slightly " wrong. But it doesn't stop or even slow down.

If anyone is still unsure about the real agenda of this film, Jim Caviezel makes it pretty clear in this clip. He says we've got to get Trump in there; he's the new Moses; he's the one who will do something about this. So there you have it: Create a crisis, from which only the savior Trump can save us. Sounds suspiciously like something Alex Jones is always ranting about.
Maybe 'cause Alex Jones is right (about the pedos)? I think the Trump as saviour thing will be played more as we go forward, and it's certainly not a good thing. At the moment, I don't think it's coming from Trump, but others, so people can reasonably say it's coming from those who wish to divide those who simply want justice for the children.

I didn't bring politics into it, Jim Caviezel did.
You brought it into this discussion..... up until then, the discussion was about the movie.
So, the question stands.... criticizing someone's suggestion of a solution, without providing one of your own is not constructive. It's just whining.

People saying the left as a whole are pro child trafficking or deny that it exist is a fallacy that people here and in conservative forums should stop pushing because it isn't true.
I think people are talking about the elites, not your regular voters.

There is an unfortunate minority of pedophile advocacy groups that have aligned themselves with liberal politics (a strong case of "a mind is so open that the brain has fallen out" in my opinion).
I do think they turn a blind eye to it on the border because it doesn't fit their desired narrative and turn to whataboutisms like "but Trump..."
When you say love is love, you have painted yourself into a corner. When they start renaming things you know their intent.

Personally I don't think anyone hates the actual movie itself, and will support trying to stop human trafficking, but rather they hate how they feel the movie is being promoted. If you feel I'm wrong here, feel free to correct me but I noticed many conservative outlets will advertise certain information as "The left doesn't want you to know about this!" The left does this two with certain narratives in media so both sides scream propaganda when they feel threatened.
I haven't seen it promoted in this way, but I can only speak for what I have seen.

Someone tell RA that building the wall is what Trump was all about. There is no agenda, it's called common sense, close the border, stop the flow of crime. The Dems won't do it, Trump will, simple.

Both Tim Ballard and Jim Caviezel are linked to QAnon. Anyone who doesn't know what that is just look it up; it's not hard to find. The film is distributed by Angel Studios; yep, the ones who gave us The Chosen.

I'm sure I'll be branded a judgmental hater who loves child trafficking. That's fine, I just believe both sides of this need to be heard.
You are quoting CNN, do you realize that? Prove your claim, please?
