My Ella has been having an itch now for a while, but recently it has become very aggravating for her. I have put talcum power in her fur and medicated rubbing it in. It seemed to help for a while but now she is just scratching like crazy..Ella is my old doggy.

I will be taking her to the Vet tomorrow moring. She shows no sigh of critters like fleas, ticks or lice, so I am thinking itis possibly an allergy.

Does anyone have any suggestions befor tomorro, June 9? Thanks. God gave her to me, and I want her happy and comfortable.

She has fleas. According to the Vet, just a few, but they were making her miserable. Since I cannot even see the dog, fleas are out of the question, but halleluyah, she is already not scratching and biting at herself, and I do not need to give her back scratch downs with my fingers every few hours, and during the night,. She is a happy puppy, and I feel really stupid taking her to a vet for fleas, but I truly had discounted them, mainly because when I was a child, I petted a dog with fleas and some bit me. I thought because there was nothing biting me too that she had something awful. Boy am I happy. God bless you......and I am outta here,,,,,,,,,again... (This thread is ok.)

Getting into a bed that was made all day is so much more refreshing than one that was crumpled all day.

It's the little things

All the law and the prophets Is summed up In one word, love.

Love covers a multitude of sin.

If a person loves their neighbor, they won't steal from them......

We love because GOD first loved us.

Under grace we establish the law.

I just went through this with my Dog Sophie. She had two of what looked like mosquito bites towards her rear leg. She kept chewing them and it got infected. She's on medication now for the itching and the infection. But she'll be going on some sort of allergy medicine when this done because she's a super itchy girl. Before I got her to the vet I'd give her a Benadryl in the morning and one before bed. For every 25 pounds it one Benadryl, I think. I'd ask your vet before you give it to her. I also would spray her with a anti itch spray made for dogs and that helped too. Hope your pup feels well again soon.
