Your post, Jimmy, raised a great issue. If we are not listening to a song, or I should say playing one right now, we may well be sinning and not filled with the Spirit. Eph 5: Be filled with the Spirit speaking to yourselves [not to each other], in psalms, and hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making melody, in your heart to the Lord.
So, are we obeying the command to sing in our hearts to the Lord? Or has satan, our Old Man flesh, or the Law snuffed out our bird from tweeting?
So if we want to know if you are filled, we may ask, am I singing?
