"Living in the now" what does this mean to you?

I've never heard Christians talk about "living in the now". I've only heard of such a thing from "new age" people.

Whenever people try to make a very obvious thing "mysterious", know that it is coming from Satan and avoid it. After all, everybody is living in the now. You can only take an action now. There is no other option.

It is true that the Lord works in mysterious ways, but that is regarding his miracles only, which go beyond our understanding, not simple daily life matters like living in the now. Do not be deceived by people who overcomplicate simple matters. They are usually trying to make a buck or two by tricking you into putting them on a pedestal to pay for "full understanding" of the "mystery". On the other hand, people of the faith always teach meekly for free, keeping what is simple simple. They do it for God, not to make a buck or gain status over you.

By the way, some of answers here are to a different question, which is how to avoid regret about the past or worry about the future (regret and worry actually do happen in the now). The Bible is indeed filled with great verses that address these matters (regret and worry) as some people have already mentioned in this thread, thanks be to God. Again, no mystery. Godspeed.

That's EXACTLY what "Living in the now" refers to. You just called it satanic and then said the Bible is filled with great verses addressing it. This is precisely what we are talking about when we talk about living in the now - not brooding over the past or worrying about the future.

No, we are not answering a different question. Yes, this IS what "Living in the now" means... unless maybe you're taking a yoga class and they use the phrase in their spiritual stuff when they try to drift away to their inner place of light or whatever.
