this is not directed to anyone, i am just making a statement-

it amazes me how many " Bible believing Christians " do not believe in demons, witchcraft , or in some cases the devil , all of which are talked about..... in the Bible.

that seems the devils biggest accomplishment, getting people to disbelieve he exists.

OP...you went to a witchdoctor?

Sure, they exist. You might want to go to a Christian physician, or better yet, Jesus will sort you out. Pray first before you go because your life is literally in their hands.
I wouldnt automatically trust doctors, or nurses though at times we have no choice but to see them, and we often dont know what they put their faith in.

All who I know who pray in the divine prayer language as we are all required have no issues with anything from the demonic realm, if we are full of Christ there is no room for the adversary or his minions
thanks this is helpful

I was wondering if any of you believe in witchcraft. I've had a very bad year since April. I've had a bad surgery that was done to me which I'm currently suffering the consequences of that day. I've had a really bad stomach flu that lasted over a week this was three weeks after my surgery. I've had spider bites all over my body. I've had a flat tire about 2 weeks ago and this week I have another car problem that might be the transmission. I've been through it this year. I've been dealing with depression and anxiety as well. I just want to know if it's possibly witchcraft or I'm just having a really bad year. I don't know if it helps but I had a dream of a black cobra snake, I don't know if there is a significance in that dream.
Witchcraft is real enough. I was "assigned" a guardian angel by some relatives when I was born. It was a demon. My early years were terrible. I came close to death from dysentery, I contracted whooping cough, often fatal in those days and I was full of fear. The family moved often. One day, we moved next door to a Christian family. I won't go into details but the demon left. I was still bound by an occult spirit. I was delivered a few years after I was saved.

If you have been involved in the occult, repent and renounce everything to do with it. If you have any books, charms, astrological symbols etc, get rid of them. Burn them, if possible.

If none of that applies, you may have been cursed by a witch. I was and I've never been so ill since I was a child (I'm 70). God was merciful and I'm here to talk about it. If you have been cursed, speak God's word to the devil. God has given the command to bless and not to curse, Lord Jesus was made a curse for us so that we could be set free. Greater is Jesus within us that Satan who is in the world.

We are commanded to resist the devil. He will flee. Nothing will change if we sit back and let it wash over us. We have the victory, but we must enforce it. We have the armour of God and the Sword of the Spirit. It is useless if we do not put it on and use the Sword.

It most certainly is and will be practised in not only in the back's of beyond in Africa, South America etc, but also in "civilized" western societies.

However, a born again Christian CANNOT have curses (or attacks) put on them by occultists, due to the many layers of protection from The Trinity around any individual Christian! Num 23v23, 1John 5v18, Psalm 91 (all), Psalm 121 (all), Rev 12v11,...and many other Scriptures.

This study should be helpful...
Absolutely not true. If we inadvertantly fulfil the conditions, we may well come under attack. We will prevail if we stand on God's word and resist Satan, but it can be a real battle for some. We are at war. Many Christians have no idea of spiritual warfare. Satan uses people's ignorance to shroud his plans. The one who imagines that he cannot be deceived is already deceived.
