I was thinking about this today, and brushed it away, but It might be a blessing, as it was to me.
The apostale Paul, had many obstacles in his way. When we come to the cross of Christ, and he renews our inner spirit, we are still on this earth.
The day Paul was trying to get somewhere, and the storm came, a real bad storm, he had to throw everything overboard, the ship wrecked, and he had to swim.
I thought about what he could of been thinking as he was swimming to his destination. Lord help me make it, I know you will, because you are with me, or just strong faith, and not a doubt.
When he got there, a snake wrapped around his hand, and it must of bite him, as the people said, now his going to die, but it says he shook it off him.
What a delima, to loss your boat, and things, swimming who knows for how long, or days, and when you finally arrive, there is a venomous snake waiting for you, that probably bite him, but he shook it off. If any one would of bailed, and got discouraged after that welcome, and where are you Lord? *He might of been Paul. But he never doubted his faith. Even to the end, writing letters from prison, that he had fought a good fight, he gave his all to the one who called him on the road to Damascus, Syria. Some of the bible was written from his prison. Even Jesus was trying to get to a place to*deliver*a lad from unclean spirits, and the storm arose.
Luke 10:19 says that*
we've been given authority. To some it dosn't make sense, how could a human being, be on the same level of authority as Christ. He said we are, we are not him, but he has given us that, in his name. It is authority, because were instructed to use the scriptures against wickedness, and any spiritual battle that has come against us, those scriptures are a sword, a spiritual sword, that conquers the evil. For we are more than conqueroros, the first part of that sentence I should of said, NO weapon formed against you shall prosper, and no words risen up against you shall prevail, for we are more than conquerors.
Where's the self confidance, in him. We are not given a back stage pass, for one night, but are his own heirs of his rightousness, adopted, engrafted into his kingdom. Many churches don't speak about this, as it will booast the self confidance to soaring, because they put condemnation on you that you should be doing something else to achieve that status of authority, and that is a lie.
This is why there is so much defeat, and lack of confidance, because there is a gap that not needs to be closed with money, but with faith. For without Faith it is impossible to please God, and hope, knowing he hears, but Love is the greatest, door, that unlocks the answer to the prayer. Where there is no love, there is no harvesting ground for reaping, for on love hand all the 9 fruits of the HOly Spirit. We are to bear them and let them remain in us. Do you actually think someone who donates millions of dollars to charity, and lives seperated from the Lord, that God is going to hear and answer his prayers. It's like the *story of the man, who thought the larger crosses that he finds around the world the closer he will become to God.
Or the women who wanted to know where Jesus lives, until someone told her, he lives within you, or the guy who thought the only time to pray was in church.
We are the temple of the Lord. HIs spirit resides with us. He is present with us. So we are complete to pray any time. He said he will raise up a temple in 3 days. Because he is called Jesus the anointed one, we are the church , and he is the good shepard, and the Holy Spirit is our teacher, revealing all things.
WE are completed, to pray anywhere, anytime, and the Lord is with us. It says pray without ceasing, so if the church was the only place, then people would need to change their address, and move in there.
