been a long busy day, though I am FINALLY seeing progress in these boxes unpacking and house coming together!
With that, it is time to say (from my dear kiddos Yacko, Wacko, and Dot, lol)

interestingly enough (my day today was very busy and I haven't had much time on CC today, so am just now reading this, another 20 minutes and according to my time stamp will be 24 hrs, lol but it's funny you said that b/c even though I didn't read until now I DID asak just that;))
Anyway, I DID have a vivid dream last night...…. wish I could say it was sweet. I think parts of it may have been but I don't recall much of it. What I do recall wasn't sweet, more like revealing. Without getting into details, pretty much it centered around a situation that would probably happen in real life (very similar to things that have happened in the recent past) and the ugly ways I would/have responded. And I know it was me in the dream. And I remember thinking just before waking how horrible and ugly that behavior was to watch. And it was like a lightbulb going off when the Lord told me that that is just how it has been viewed by others (those close to me) when I have reacted the way I have in the past.....
revealing.....
areas of self that need work.
Humbling.

1:20 A.M. July 5th..... why am I still up? Oh everyone was up late watching tv. fell asleep there and time just flies when it's all quiet, lol. I should go to bed myself........
But first.....
I woke up yesterday thinking about the verse that talks about taking thoughts captive.
I remember starting a little study on this years ago. I hope to find my old notes soon to revisit.
It is a subject I have been thinking upon lately...…..

I know Curry Blake quote Dr. Caroline Leaf, you will like her, when he shared what she had said, "most people don't think about what they think about. He then went on to teach how what we think about can create and reinforce strongholds in the mind. They must be broken down and removed.

I remember seeing a poster in the church youth room one time that had Philippians 4:8 on it. Talks about whatever is true whatever is lovely whatever is pure to think about these things. I wish I had been taught this when I was an older child/young teen. Those years in my life were not filled with such good thoughts. Lots of wandering thoughts and what if scenarios played in my mind. A LOT of wasted time and opened a lot of negative doors in my life.
Dr. Caroline Leaf.... Sounds familiar, I'll look her up.
Derek Prince has also quoted that " "most people don't think about what they think about. "

 I just ate a cookie. Now I KNOW it wasn't the best choice for me. In fact I've been saying no to this cookie for a couple days now. Seriously. Let's see, today is Monday. Saturday hubby took the kids "shopping" and came back with a box of cookies. I said "NO!" And I meant it. Then last night they tried some "oh these are so good, you should try one."
It was late and I really didn't want to put that :poop: in my body, I said "NO!"
Then while I was out running some errands ( late, like 10pm) I was thinking about that cookie. MMMM How yummy it might be with a cold glass of milk (which I have slowly been eliminating from my diet, haven't noticed much difference yet though). So I get home and there it is. Right on the center of the table. It was as if it was calling my name. Still, I realized how late it was, and the fact that I hadn't had anything to eat in several hours, so my body was feeling pretty good and why toss something into it before going to bed? So again I said "NO!"
Well, this morning was a whole other story. I decided it was time to finally have THAT cookie.
BIG mistake!!!!. EWWW:sick: So icky sweet! I've had a full glass of almond milk since eating it and STILL taste it lingering in my mouth.
So while I'm thinking I still WANT junk food, my body is finally saying "Why did you do that to me?"
Spending some time today looking for healthier snacks.
Ugh I understand a few years ago I was on a diet and I only drank diet soda for months than I was doing good so I decided to treat myself with real soda and I almost spit it out because it was so sweet lol

I can't do diet:sick: makes me ill the moment it's in my mouth, lol. But regular soda is starting to do the same.

So the vaca was ok. Actually kinda stressful this year:(. Lots of walking and swimming and I had a few indulgent treats, but not many. So I thought when I got home maybe my scale would reflect how my bodies feeling now..... nope:( the numbers stayed the same! (well, down .8 /LB but still, with all the physical work done I thought it would have gone down more...….
I would love to find somewhere around here that has pool aerobics (at a time I can attend, so like evenings when hubbies home w/ kids) So much easier to stretch in water. My little guy I cannot pick up any more since he is built so solid and weighs almost 60LBs. I did pick him up in the pool though, just playing around and next thing I know I'm lifting him up, lol, to a certain height then outta water weight kicks in and my arms scream "TO HEAVY TO HEAVY". Maybe if I try to repeat the motion with my dumbbells I can try to get the same results.
It's good to be back home.
I don't know what it is but the older I get, the less I enjoy going away for long periods of time...….

I found that in the CC Life-Bits from user HanCris. It really struck a cord or two for me. I look back in life and wonder about that sometimes....how many chances I missed b/c of an unrealistic fear of failure....

Yes, I still do miss what I believe He gives me to do, still learning. Anxiety isn't from Jesus.
