You should also see 13 Hours. Its one of the best military-themed movies I've seen in a long time and its the true story of what happened at the US Embassy in Benghazi a few years ago. (yes the plot doesn't sound that exciting, but when i heard what happened described on the radio by a member of the US military who also happened to host a radio show a few years a go, I realized it would make a great movie.. and it did!)

Yeah, Expendables could have done without that much of cussing. I love Rambo. I can't say that I am a fan because it was only recently that I watched it for the first time. Still, I think it is part of the aura of Stallone.
The intellectual side of me enjoys the movies made by Nolan. It makes me think, if you know what I mean?
As for war movies, you could start with Argo. Then watch The Hurt Locker, American Sniper, Last Man Standing, Lone Survivor and 13Hours.

I used to watch a ton of classic movies. I'm different from my peers I that aspect. I loved Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Bing Crosby, Judy Garland, Audrey Hepburn, and all of those other greats. I still do, but I haven't watched one in a long time. The westerns have always been a family favorite. (John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, even the old Billy the Kid shows with Buster Crabbe, and Roy Rogers and Steve Mqueen Wanted Dead or Alive)I have seen many action movies like Rambo, the Terminators, etc. Then I got I to Korean movies, dramas, and variety shows. And then Korean music, where I discovered their amazing dance and choreography,so that's been my source of entertainment since then. Lol
Oddly enough, I wasn't a big fan of Mission Impossible. Don't get me wrong, it was a good movie, but I just didn't love it like I thought I would, and I'm not really sure why. I only watched the first one, though. Maybe if I watched the rest it would grow on me.
Totally agree about scary things. Even if I don't have ahead attack, I start seeing things, hearing things...
Never watched Divergent, though. The whole plot is pretty much the Hunger Games with a different setting to me. Plus I'm just not a fan of all these new young-adult , female hero books coming out. It feels to me like authors are just trying patronize us young female readers. But that's just me.

I've never seen the new True Grit, but I've heard good things about it. I lived the old one, though. And of course Outlaw Josie Wales was good, what else can you expect from Clint? And I do remember seeing the Sacketts somewhere... It stars someone that Tom Selleck sometimes acts with, I believe is how I found it.
