Interesting though, Judas is the only one that Jesus specifically called 'friend'.
Yeah but he wasn't the disciple Jesus loved.

Sorry, had to throw that in there. Say, did we ever figure out which disciple it was that Jesus loved? A lot of people think it was Luke.

That would be John, son of Zebedee. I was certain that I knew that but ran a google to be sure.

Don't see why not, who knows what was going through his mind just before he died. I'm not going to presume that anyone is going to hell.

Yes! I wanna know why he didn't stop Eve. Why he didn't throw her over his shoulder and run from the serpent.
I find it sadly amusing that here the woman started something we men then took the blame for (story of my life lol)

Really? I always hear how, "...if Eve didn't eat that apple...!" Even the Bible says Eve was the weaker vessel and that she was the one who was deceived, putting the blame on her shoulders. I guess since Adam wasn't deceived he was just willingly disobedient for her sake?

I would say they both had a part in the downfall of mankind. She was deceived and he didn't protect her.

Here is the thing. It is God's will and desire that none shall perish but all shall have ever lasting life.

I believe that it is biblically sound that God hears and answer all prayers that are aligned with His will and desire. If you pray for someone's salvation God heard that prayer even before He created the universe and I believe that it would be His will and desire to answer it.

I don't believe that suicide is the unpardonable sin, or even, in some cases, a sin at all but rather a tragic ending for someone with an extremely troubled mind / mentally unstable / or both. Unless you are God you can't say at all with any degree of certainty that someone is or has gone to hell.

Despite our understanding or lack of understanding God is most certainly capable of accomplishing His will and desire. This is a spiritual truth that is not predicated on our own understanding.

my friend a blanket prayer can not change God's will for the wicked . Judas was not part of breaking of bread and wine .. So he has no part in Jesus . he gos to hell .. ,now You praying today for all the ones in error all over in time and the world ?maybe because you have friends or family languishing in unbelief ,wickedly against your God . I understand. .here's truth the penalty of sin is death.

no I didn't say suicide was the unpardonable sin, sorry grieving the Holy spirit is the unpardonable sin. Only God is Judge truly . am here to get edified I don't know about you ..lol

I like to look at it like this . Remember the thieves crucified along side Jesus Christ ,one unbeliever and the other a believer .
Reason this ,for the believing thief ,after an entire life of wickedness accounted for and convicted ,yet in having a believing heart at the tail end and he alone assured by Jesus to be with the Lord and the father .
That's how desperate our heavenly father is just to save even the most vile of mankind if they turn their heart one time to believe. Even Barnabas was the first to be set free for Jesus sake . the most vile of that day it was written . .Our Heavenly father loving towards mankind so aggressively .

"Okay, so... Adam and Eve, where'd you get the needle and thread to sew the fig leaves together? And since you didn't have a mom or dad, who taught you how to sew?"
