    Hi Pop, the funeral was last week but in the Hindu culture they believe in 'feeding' the dead which is a prayer a week after the funeral to offer food to the person who died. I was not comfortable with that at all. I was hesitant about it- on my way home my mom called and asked me to bring her some cold medicines, she took it when I got home and fell asleep and is still asleep so I was not forced to go. Thank goodness.

    I wrote that after reading your poem, it took me 15 minutes as I wanted to closely match what you had written previously. You are an excellent writer and your poem was a pleasure to read.
