Wow thanks so much for this stellar review. That was very sweet of you and I am glad you like it - I am becoming less scared to share my art -realizing that it does not need to be perfect
I've been listening to a book on humility by Pastor Andrew Murray and doodling so it is a rewarding pass time for me. I hope you are safe and whole where you are staying!
Blessings
Heart_melody, yay. I am not sure I know of Andrew Murray. I'll have to chk him out. It is so true it doesn't have to be perfect to be good, even healing for us.
I am in the process of working on a kids book but I keep trying to make it too perfect - thanks for your input maybe I need to keep it simple like this
Thank you, Melody, wow, I love the rich colours and contrast, and overall stylized design you have employed.
It has brought to mind for me the art of another member I have not seen around for a while... Joi's last posting here was almost two years ago Her art was always a very simple design with a Scripture verse, and a little red bird. It was known as Red Bird Art.
Any way, I do hope you keep sharing your delightful designs with us
I designed more than one panel for Joi, and always put at least one little red bird in them for her You can find at least one of them here. I have asked about her a couple of times on the Speak Your Mind thread, but as far as I know, nobody ever responded to my queries about Joi. She had surgery for an oral cancer, the last I heard, and could not talk, or even eat/swallow properly because of it.

A friend of mine had to go through that too - He was being fed liquid food through a tube for 3 years.... And he went through so much. A real inspiration. I will pray for her today Hopefully- wherever she is - she will feel remembered. And comforted.
