That awkward moment when you open up a thread and see that it has 666 likes and wonder if you should quickly find a post to like before someone makes a comment on it; only to realize that you are the only person commenting on it at all and probably should have just left it alone.

I get up while it's still dark, so I've woken up during the night thinking it's time to get up only to see that it's only midnight so I go back to bed.

That awkward moment when ungodly me back in college, before I came back to the fold, explains to the neurotic vegetarian girl that refuses to turn on her lights in her dorm room and who makes her profs read her papers off her laptop because she doesn't want to waste paper by printing them... when I explained to her that vegetables are STILL ALIVE when cooked or eaten, otherwise they would not be green, that photosynthesis and other cellular activities are still taking place and they have been slowly dying since picked and that when you bake bread that is the moment you kill the yeast cultures... and then three weeks later her dad drives down from Vermont and eventually checks her out of the hospital where she had been because she had refused to eat Anything.

That is very possibly the worst thing I ever did. I still feel remorse and sorrow over it.

I couldn't help think of that when you said what you did, Descyple. After all, you are not really killing them by eating them. You're putting them out of the misery of a slow death of starvation/dehydration and instead rending and grinding them in your mouth and dissolving them in the acid of your stomach.

That awkward moment when your grandpa comes in the room, and starts telling you how your cousin wants to marry you........ And then your cousin tells you he wants hugs from you and for you to have pictures of him, and he gives you a piece of gum he saved for you... Honestly, it makes a girl want to curl up and die... At least this one anyway

That awkward moment when one of your neighbors watches you flailing around on your porch, fending off crazy birds that swoop by way too close.

The robins around here are psychotic.

Or maybe I am.
 
sometimes I think I'd pay the cost of getting cable TV to watch episodes of your life....
does that make for awkward?
 
Ha! Yeah, it's a little bit awkward.

I would pay money to live someone else's life for a little while, take a break from me.
 
Haha! What about "When Nature Calls"? or "Call of the Wild"? or "Getting Angry at Animals"?

The awkward moment where you have 666 posts on a Christian forum, and then worry someone will see one of your posts, then see your post count and think it's a sign from God that all your posts are evil... so you post 2 more times to make it 668 so you can go to bed without worrying about other peoples superstition about your posts. :rolleyes::D

That awkward moment when you have a dream about someone and the next day you wake up and keep thinking about it and it slightly alters how you feel about them, even though you know they didn't actually do anything.

This time it wasn't in a bad way. It was just...weird.
 
That awkward moment when a bunch of near-strangers have pretty much made your grocery list for you...
