So, since this thread is dedicated to Christian metal, I would like some recommendations, if anyone can give me any?
Are there any bands similar to Opeth? I have heard of Morphia; good band, any others?
How about technical bands? Or progressive bands? I am aware of Becoming the Archetype and I Built the Cross. Any others?
Just something that sounds unique?
Please don't listen the known bands, I already know them all. Thanks!

Technical... have you tried Sympathy - Abyssal Throne/Anagogic Tyranny/Arcane Path/Invocation? Brutal Tech DM.
Dues Invictus - Staged In Waiting had a tech sound, to me.
Old school Embodyment - Embrace The Eternal.
thrash/power/techish - Teramaze - Anhedonia/Doxology/Tears To Dust. The had one called 'I'm Not The Criminal', but it was horrid, poppish sounding, confused, and wretched. Avoid at all costs.
Its tricky to give much because 'known bands' varies from each person. Some people think Sympathy is 'known' while others think of them as more underground. And you're young so we have no idea what you know about bands out when we were your age.
Unique .. Nephesh - Hated By This World/Inter Armas Silent Leges. Black metal based, but have this symphonic almost movie soundtrack sound mixed in.
Diamoth - Distorktion.. self proclaimed 'black'n'roll'
O' Majestic Winter - Defiling The Serpents Temple .. Song i have on started out with a repetitive horn call, and a slow paced break down with death/black vocals, then busts into raw black. Kind of weird.
Ceremonial Sacred - Our War Is Only Against Hell .. some good black metal, but they throw in some quite non-black metal elements. Such as 'My Dead Feelings', a 2 minute piano track, that sounds kind of lounge act almost at first, or Snoopy sounding haha, but gets a little darker at the end. Don't know why its all black metal so far. Then in another song it closes with a mellow jazz sax, then goes into piano.
Old school thrash/death band called Decision D, they seemed to have some weird stuff, lots of differing vocals and whatnot.
Old school thrash/industiral/metal, Screams Of Chaos - Genetic Warfare
If you want a bizarre mix of King Diamond/thrash/death/power go for old school Possession - Eternally Haunt/Scourge And Fire/The Unnameable Suffering.
Some of this old stuff may be hard to find.
Problem with finding specialty sounds like 'tech' stuff, or anything real unique is during the big push of Christian metal, a lot of that stuff wasn't prevalent, even in the secular. As the scenes died out, they began being more experimental (purging the trendy types so the real musicians can take over again). But by the Christian music had also moved on and left a small remnant behind of true metallers. Now, so much of the music comes from South America, which puts out good music, but not a lot of original or ultra-talented music.
