I think, and I don't know if I'm right, but I think that the second most important thing is to find our what each thing refers to.
What 'temples' symbolize. What 'candles' symbolize, etc.
And the first is to read it with the view that God has compassion for all people, the kind you'd have for a newborn son or daughter. Boundless.

I like that, it was what i had to do. by the way, the prophecies being revoked by God
is not one too many can grasp. And some are waiting to see them fulfilled still.
And others cant understand yet land promises were conditional and also changed.
your joking right? why can;t anyone just let this girl read and make up her own mind?.. God did not take back prophesies. if God knew things were not going to happen, he would have told us so. not say yes these are going to happen. then later say, oops I made a mistake, they are not going to happen, i changed my mind

I responded to what I saw was something I am really passionate about. Just like you guys (some) do with me.. (which is different than bearing false witness against me) I understand you hate some of the stuff I believe in, and expect to get harshly criticized at times, that happens and you have done that quite a bit
What you said is not only offensive to what the way I think God does things, but things he has said, and I responded in kind. I am sorry if it offended you. But it is just the way I see it.. I am not condemning you, claiming your not saved, or hating on you. I just responded to what I saw..

Also to the OP, there's a great book I found in the library a while back called Revelation: Four Views. It's a parallel commentary that, as its features note, contains an in-depth look at the major interpretations of Revelation (i.e. historicist, preterist, futurist and idealist). It's worth a look for anyone.
