So, speaking of dismembered & in the trunk, I grew up in the county where Henry Lee Lucas was captured.

Points to 1) the first to name the county and 2) anyone who didn't have to look up who he was.

...hey, if it's anything goes, might as well make a game show out of it, right?
guess I don't get points.

Crud. I used to read about serial killers a lot as a hobby so the name sounds very familiar (but why is it that it seems A LOT of famous killers have "Henry" or "Lee" in their names... Oh crud, I'm thinking of Harvey Lee Oswald...)

Drat. Obviously, I don't get any points either.

Me too!!! Henry Lee Lucas does sound familiar. I hope no one gets freaked out by this recent discovery or the fact that I have a dismembered bod-...oh my, well who could that be? I gotta go check the door, because the doorbell just rang and that's what you do when...bye.

Zaoie, you have to be a little more creative than that. People ALWAYS stop in mid-sentence about the body they've hidden or stashed away because of the doorbell.

I bet you don't even HAVE a doorbell. :)

Reminds me of the first paragraph of a book I haven't read yet, Charles Williams' "War In Heaven".

The telephone bell was ringing wildly, but without result, since there was no-one in the room but the corpse. A few moments later there was. Lionel Rackstraw, strolling back from lunch, heard in the corridor the sound of the bell in his room, and, entering at a run, took up the receiver. He remarked, as he did so, the boots and trousered legs sticking out from the large knee-hole table at which he worked, but the telephone had established the first claim on his attention.

Viola rox for being the 1st to like this post on her thread, but she didn't get the points. I hope someone claims them before sundown :)

(and remember, never feed them after midnight and don't get them wet.)

Perhaps I've been listening to too many Dexter books on CD, but that sentence wasn't even weird to type. (The one about the dismembered goat, that is) Hmmm...
Is that the serial killer? Dexter is my favorite show! :D

That's a good show, the best season was season four, but last season was pretty good too, poor Deb. :(

Another good show is Homeland, that one is really good too.

If season four was the Trinity killer then YES! John Lithgow was awesome!! :D

I heard homeland was really good too but I watched some of the first episode and didn't like it. I don't like anything that has to do with terrorism because its so overplayed in movies and tv shows already.

Yes! The one with the Trinity Killer, that had to be one of the best seasons of a show ever, it was so riveting. I saw the whole thing in like a day. lol

Well, terrorism is a bit overplayed, but Homeland is really, really good. Like, as good as Dexter. I would give it a chance, you need to at least watch a good four episodes before writing it off.

Yea the trinity killer was my favorite season too! :) Ok I'll consider giving homeland another chance but I like too many shows already :p (game of thrones, breaking bad, true blood, etc..)

There are way too many shows to watch, I agree. I heard those shows are good too, but I haven't gotten around to watching them. I need to catch up on a few shows, I have like 10 episodes of Vampire Diaries that I need to catch up on.

I was under the assumption TV didn't have any good shows left.

Oh no! You lost me at Vampire Diaries lol :D Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones are really good, although maybe a bit too dark for some people, but not for Dexter fans. :)

If you do watch breaking bad, there are 2 or 3 slow episodes in the first season but then it gets really good and never lets up :D Game of thrones is pretty much good on every episode.

Hey, Vampire Diaries is actually really good. lol It's not like Twilight at all, it's actually pretty interesting. Can't judge a book by its cover... or in this case TV Show... :p

My dad watches Breaking Bad and loves it, but I haven't gotten around to watching it. And I heard Game of Thrones is really good too but I haven't gotten around to that either. lol I will though, one of these days.

And Zaoman, there are a bunch of good shows on TV, you just have to give them a chance.

I need a thread to complain and this seemed like as good a thread as any since anything goes. :D

I just wanted to say how much I strongly dislike iTunes. The only reason I have it is because I have an iPod, and the only reason I have that is because my friend sold it to me for $40 about 4 years ago and it's still going strong so I haven't bought anything else. I got a new laptop, downloaded the new iTunes, and I'm trying to transfer my music over, and it's so tedious. I can't find a way to transfer it all, I have to do it folder by folder. I feel like Grumpy Cat about it.

As a side note, I haven't finished this season of Dexter, so no spoilers please!! :p
