I find it interesting that, it seems like a lot of musicians that have become christians all have some tie to christianity in their past somewhere. I have Brian Welch's book "Save Me From Myself" and he said the hugest ministry that took place in his life was another kid he was playing with when he was like 7 or 8, and this kid was from a christian home and they spoke to him about God, and took him to church with them on occasion. I believe he even said he gave his life to God at that time to. It's good to know that even if ministry seems like a failure right off the bat, it can make an impact in the long run.

I guess that just goes to show you how absolutely p.o.'d satan is about being such a big fat loser.It's no wonder why he goes after musicians so hard,him being pretty much the leader of heaven's praise & worship team. It must be such a slap in the face when people start using their musical gifts for God. Now to see these humans,not only have a covenant with God that no angel had,and then being told by God for us to praise him..give thanks unto him in song & dance with our voices & instruments. I know if I were satan I would do everything I could to corrupt & take out as many people I could & to pervert the very heart of music just to try to get back at God & make myself feel good. LOL It's like,Jesus took the keys of hell & death & on top of all the stuff he's done for us..he gives us music!!!! I get kinda pumped up at the thought of it...it's pretty awesome really. I can't think of many better ways to tell the devil neener neener (I used more harsh words in my head,but I don't want to make the kiddies ears bleed) than to pop in some righteous rump kicking thrash metal!!!! *looks around for my extraction from mortality cd* :cool:

BRUTAL!!!!! I still am not a big Mortification fan...lol I dunno why. I love what they do & I love the longevity of the band...just something about their sound or his singing (growling) I want to love them..and in my heavy metal heart I know it's the right thing to do,but I just can't. LOL

Yeah, after their first few CD's i started losing interest. His voice quit being death metal and started this weird, weak grunting sound. Like he is pushing too hard on the toilet when he sings. The music got weaker, and kind of .. its like you can almost hear them counting 1..2..3..4..1..2..3..4 very stiff. No flow.

I have their first album, surprised he's back with a new album since he joined 7 Horns 7 Eyes. (the vocalist to Monotheist that is) I heard some bad things about him online, looked around and can't say i thought well of the guy, so i've been leery of his music ever since.
