Just discovered this band about 20 minutes ago...amazing, it didn't take me long after hearing them to order their album. I'm also crossing my fingers that Ugly doesn't know who they are.

I got to see them shortly after this album came out. No stage, and only about 50 people. It was awesome, they played a phenomenal show. I believe they were with symphony in peril and bloodline calligraphy.
Ugh..bummer about that Ziad band you posted Ugly. I was starting to get into the song & then I knew once the singer made that dumb little noise at the start before his vocals kicked in ,this was gonna all go horribly wrong. LOL Vocals really make or break it for me with so many bands.

Hmm... i kind of liked the vocals.
But yeah, vocals really make a huge difference. So many bands i bypass due to bad vocals, or just not my type. A lot of power metal bands are like this, the music will be cool, but the vocals are just so clean and high and to me they all sound the same.

I think so, the other big one I got to see was sunday bloody sunday who everyone loved because they had the first black vocalist anyone had seen in a hardcore band, they were wicked too.
And if you've heard of Kingston Falls they were from around my area, went to a lot of shows with them...and the band I was in got to play with them once. They were pretty cool dudes.

Anyone else here enjoy Project 86? I only have their 1st & 7th albums, both sound completely different, but both very good. What would they be classified as? Metal-ish?

No, my band was before youtube existed...We did record a Demo, but we were several weeks out of practice, and I had a cold (I was the vocalist) so my voice got tore up really quick, and we only had one day to record and we did it live. Our guitar player let us know it would never see the light of day again

I used to love Project 86. I followed them up through that really weird album they did after ...and the rest will follow. I don't remember what it was called, but I didn't care for it and lost interest after that. Their fourth album with the song Spy Hunter and the album Drawing Black Lines were my favorites though.
