(one and the same)

No, the owl of Minerva accompanies Minerva... It is not the goddess herself.
I hate to rain on your parade, but the greek goddess and the owl are one in the same, it's called zoological idol transference. The greeks had gods for everything. They thought their God's inhabited certain things. Such as - Zeuss - the heavens(clouds).
The spirit of minerva was thought to inhabit owls.

You have a very difficult time differentiating concepts don't you? She is depicted with her owl, not as her owl... And yes, she was thought to inhabit owls, though those would be common owls, not the owl of Minerva she is depicted with.

Either way the transference you're talking of isn't exactly relevant to the discussion. Minerva Mcgonagal in Harry Potter was in fact named after the Goddess Minerva. Of that there is no dispute. The owl of Minerva has nothing really to do with this.

Back to the point, being named after Minerva doesn't make the thing evil, many people are directly or indirectly named after gods and goddesses of myths...

Many have... If you had decency you'd look up the scripture references that use the word 'logos' that I mentioned you might see it. But sadly, you do not...

I could start by referencing Justyn Martyr and go from there, but if you ignore scripture what use is it referring to the saints?

Logos contains reason in its meaning, if you can't look up such a simple thing what hope is there for you?

O.K. you brought it up.
Justin Martyr.
His use of the word.
Please with references.

"Many have!" - - - - What a proud oblation you are!
What a puffed up melon!

......What a waste.

Is "Lord of the Rings" bad, created by JRR Tolkien?

Is "The Chronicles of Narnia" bad, created by C.S Lewis

Although my answer is no for these stories, I don't care for Harry Potter. But you should get what I'm getting at.
For me they all belong in the same trash can.

its a deep hatred nothing to do with fear
Amen, there is a Godly, heavenly hatred. Those who lack such have serious spiritual issues.

Ps.97

[10] Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

Ps.119

[104] Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

[128] Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.

Prov.8

[13] The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Oh tribesmen i wish you were from australia so we could catch up for a bible study! my hatred for satan is only surpassed by my love for God
:D

(No.....wait, you said they were two distinctly different things)

You have a very difficult time differentiating concepts don't you?(I have a difficult time understanding what you are trying to say because it changes) She is depicted with her owl, not as her owl... And yes, she was thought to inhabit owls, though those would be common owls, not the owl of Minerva she is depicted with. (Nope, you said they had nothing to do with each other)

Either way the transference you're talking of isn't exactly relevant to the discussion. Minerva Mcgonagal in Harry Potter was in fact named after the Goddess Minerva. Of that there is no dispute. The owl of Minerva has nothing really to do with this. (The teacher doesn't have anything to do with imparting wisdom?)

Back to the point, being named after Minerva doesn't make the thing evil, many people are directly or indirectly named after gods and goddesses of myths...(You are useless to debate with because at first you objected to her being of a different sex, and now you object because she is : "not that evil")
- I can't debate with non sequiturs
No logic, no logos, no nothing.

I'll leave you now in your state of logical disrepair.

But I'll return and paste your minerva threads together, to show how illogical and non sequential your thinking is.

I did a google search on the name Justin Martyr.. and an image of a man came up doing what you may consider the six sign with his hand..

After reading about your issue at the petrol station.. warned you before hand no pun intended.

what do you mean? is there a point your making or random observation lol

JGPS said - "No. The previous deputy headmaster was male. It breaks premise 3. That in occult the Cancellareous is a woman and in HP the deputy headmistress is a Cancellareous".

"If HP was following the occult it could not have a male deputy headmaster,
(It doesn't) as the Cancellareous is parallel to the deputy headmistress and must be female."

The Cancellareous IS a woman:

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is organized:

  • Dumbledore (a man) (#1)) Supreme Mugwump
  • Snape (a man) (#2)
  • Professor Minerva McGonagall (a woman) (#3) Deputy Headmistress (book 1, p. 51)

Parallels any occult order:

  1. Imperitor (a man) (#1)
  2. Temple Master (a man) (#2)
  3. Cancellareous (a woman) (#3)

See?
Unless you are saying the previous Deputy Headmistress was a male, and replaced by a woman.
That opens up an even bigger can of worms.
The male seceeded in the hierarchy of the family by the female
