That very awkward moment when someone calls your husband and tells him you were out until two thirty in the morning with a guy. And you have to convince him that he was your cousin and nothing happened.
This hasn't happened yet, but my husband is asleep and so is everyone who's gonna tell him. I might even give him my cousins number, just so he can hear it from my cousin that nothing happened as well.
But, on that note, it was so worth the time I got to spend with him. I missed him a lot.

Reminded me of something :): When you are working an accident and a scared little four year old girl (not injured, thankfully) is hanging onto you for dear life (because you have one of those "mommy faces" according to the guys :rolleyes:), so you ride in the ambulance with her while they care for her dad (you want to turn her over to her mom at the ER rather than calling protective services), and when they turn on the siren, she pees all over your lap. Finally made her giggle though, so it was worth it. :)

Probably not. I dunno. Didn't know that was supposed to be a secret. Just because you told me that, then told me not to tell anyone, you never said to keep it secret.

That awkward moment when you text your friend about when you can pay her and pick up a scarf she crocheted you, and tell her how bad your financial situation is until next payday, only to find out her phone number changed. And you get a reply, saying wrong number. AWKWARD.

That awkward moment when... I have so many of these I had to sit and think which one to share so I'll go with the most recent. I had to go in early and take a math exam. I went into the assigned classroom where a couple of my other classmates had already started. A (cute) guy came in and sat behind me. My teacher came in and asked was he with me and I said I don't know him, he replied that he was an hour early for class and he didn't have any where else to go at the time he was just chillin out there. So of course I was like aww he sat behind because he likes me that's so sweet. So I was thinking oh he's probably gonna try and talk to me but the teacher came back so he wasn't able to. So the next day of class I told all my classmates about the guy that was totally liking me and went on and on about it. And one of my classmates said "Girl you know he was there monitoring us, so we wouldn't cheat right?" (cricket, cricket) And then everybody had a good laugh me included. Let it be known these things happen to me all the time haha.

That awkward moment when you don't think the moment is awkward but the other person does. I tend to think awkward moments are funny and harmless, but I often forget that the other person (or people) are embarrassed.

They replied, 'wrong number dear, atleast you don't owe ME money' and I texted back 'lol thanks!'

This should also fall under the 'you know you're single when...' thread.... you know you're single when the only message you get on your phone is a reminder to yourself
