Hi. New here. I am desiring someone to call my own. I was informed that the almost perfect girl for me just got together with someone. I know this person and trust him to do the right thing completely. I just wish it was me, but i guess this is God's way of telling me to wait and he shall deliver. I just hope its soon.

You're only 15 and want a friend for life?!? That could be 80 years if you live to be 105!

You're too young to know that friends come and go. It's enemies that accumulate... lol.

I am not looking for a boyfriend more a friend for life.

I do not intend to offend, but I have never met anyone who at the age of nineteen was adequately prepared to go into a marriage. Let alone anyone under the age of 23 or so, really. Your singleness is a time to give unto the Lord. :)

LordGuided : If the girl you were waiting for is not with you, it may be a sign that God is showing you that maybe she wasn't the one... wait and God will show you the right person, because He doesn't want you going through pain... I learned the consequences the hard way

I know a few couples who got married or intend to get married soon who are 19 to 22 and they are doing very well. They are Christians and are quite mature in their faith. Age isn't the issue, maturity is. Age does not define maturity.

There are many teens and young adults who are not emotionally or spiritually ready for a commitment like that, but still some are. It depends on the person.

Don't start worrying until your 40. *sigh* I worry too. haha...

I know someone who wasn't married until they were 40 something. That's a lot of patience!

We get so worried over finding the special person that we might focus on it more then God.

However, once we are serving God and he is our main focus then that person will enter our lives according to God's plan not our own. It is hard to be patient but ultimately it is worth so much more if we wait on God then going after every possibility out there...

Teenagers, I'm guilty of this too, put WAY too much focus on relationship, who's with who, why am I not with so-and-so.

Guys, ladies, let's focus on what we can do for God, and what we can do to prepare ourselves for whomever God has in store for us, though that is not our main focus. Fix your eyes on Jesus and everything else will fall into place.

I haven't had a boyfriend, never had someone tell me they want to date me, never been asked out on a date. Though I think of this as a good thing. It just seems weird to see 13-15 year olds getting boyfriends or girlfriends and breaking up with them shortly after they're together. It's messy, it's fruitless and potentially harmful.

Teens...just. Wait. Chill, and just enjoy the life and relationship you have in Jesus and cherish your family and friends.
