Im a huge bob marley fan, but ive gotten into his kids music and so much reggae! anyone else?
 
I myself find reggae MUSIC a very beautiful music style. However, beware of their lyrics because what they teach is a false doctrine. :)
 
hey I love reggae music and yes sometimes the songs praise 'selassie' DJ Nicholas is a great alternative if you want to listen to christian reggae music he is from Jamaica like Bob Marley :) but i must agree Bob Marley has some good music

I love his kids too! Especially Damian and stephen! I've also heard Damian and Nas on the album Distand Relatives which was amazing!
 
Just listen to Bob Marley, SHEESH. Doesn't matter if they have their own beliefs, music is all about culture. You should check out Matisyahu, he's a hasidic jewish rapper.

Umm .. no, i don't want to listen to Bob Marley. SHEESH. Why are you so bothered by people not wanting to listen to Marley, or wanting to find Christian music to listen to?
And i remember listening to the first Matisyahu CD before it was released, working in a music department.

Ok seriously, there are some Christian reggae bands out there that reject the false beliefs of Rastafarianism and embrace the Christian worldview.

I am a devout follower of REGGAE music...
I myslef am a HUGE HUGE fan of Bob Marley, UB40, Peter Tosh, John Holt, Katchafire etc...

BUT what I now know is that this music is not of the works of God.
Even though its got a real easy, nice but really good bass like beat we need to know that ALL
music can be sly..
Even without the artists intention or mabye :o
Anyway...
I want to get into Reggae praise and music...
I wanna buy as much as I can cause I am praying that circular reggae music is cut from my spirit.
AMEN.
