I know teen girls (and boys, whoa!) rock skinnies. But, my daddy won't let me, and i'm not much of a fan either (surprised yet?), although sometimes i envy those who were it. 'EnaGoguette, why not? you ask?' Well, i'm not the skinniest girl in the world, and niether me or my dad wants me to become to exposed 'cause you know boys like checkin' girls out and i'm a school girl, who does her hardest to please God, first, than Her parents. I feel like skinny jeans are for other girls who aren't as, you know thick, like me. So give me your opinion on it, what do you think? Need some advice!
 
If your dad says no, then do not wear them. I don think they are bad, where I liv no one wore them very skin tight or anything. To me, they are just flare jeans with a different bottom, and the bottom of mine always is baggy and scrunches anyways. When it was the trend back in middle school, EVERYONE of all shapes and sizes wore them. But then again, no one at my school wore them super super tight. They were always slightly, the normal, baggy. It's just like wearing long capris.

I'm not sure where you live, but I know where I live the skinny jean trend is wearing off an it is now flare jeans and flare jeans with jewels on them! Haha.

You are not missing out at all, everyone has their own style and I bet you ROCK all the jeans and clothes you wear! :)

In years of seeing people wear those atrocities i've only seen a few women, as in less than 5, look good in them. They are so ugly that even women with the 'right' body type to wear those look bad in them just because those jeans look bad, period. Have some respect for yourself and don't wear them.
 
they're cool and i wear them, yess. but if you dont want to/arnt allowed then dont ,= no worries. im sure you look great in whatever you wear
 
If you know that they attract the eyes of guys, then why wear them?
Don't be a tempter, this will only lead to problems.

Besides that, your father told you not to. It is very important to respect what your parents tell you.

They're difficult to pull off and not made for curvy people. Not enough room and too loose in the waist.
 
I wear skinny jeans and I'm curvy. Guys check out the junk all the time. I don't really care because my reasons isn't to tempt anyone. I just wear it coz it looks good and I feel hot so yea. I see girls eyeballing me but i couldn't care less because the same girls that are eyeballing me saying how I look like a hoe and what what at the same time, they are either revealing there cleavage or showing there legs. LOL so blah blah blah, I never wear a skirt above my knee or show my whole arms (believe it or not lol) yet when I wear skinny jeans all of a sudden I'm seen as a girl who purposefully wants guys to check me out.

Let it be girl, as for a christian dress code? let it be known to everyone to JUST "wear clothes".
 
But everything attracts the eyes of guys like makeup, a simple singlet, the way we do our hair, ze skin etc. It is ignorant to think that a girl who wears skinny jeans is thought as 'tempter' seriously? hahaha.

I do agree that we should respect our parents Eph.6:1 Children obey your mother and father for this is the right thing to do.

Also that is a commandment with a promise which is - longevity.
 
I don't think skinny jeans are horrible but here's a great word of advice my bf used to give his daughter. If your cellphone doesn't fit in you butt pocket, theyre too tight.

But we do have a responsibility to not present as stumbling block to another through our dressing. ;)
 
I think tight jeans show off a girl's body and that's immodest. So, I think its better you don't wear em. I think dresses are a lot nicer on girls since its modest in that context.

Starfield: I agree but at the same time I dont think skinny jeans is a stumbling block BECAUSE it's covering, not an inch of skin is showing
 
skinny jeansfashionable speaking is only talking about the way they are cut, the tightness is something that you deteremine. and yes some people dotn belong to wear them because if you are heavy per say they will hug you wrong but because i cant see you all i can say if you ever want to give hem a try. go for it its all about the fit. becasue my skinnys hug me, but there is still wiggle room. like they wrinkle up in certian areas, becasue i am 5ft one so lol but again i dont know your body. and again. you should give em a try.and see how they fit ya know in a dressing room. and see you find a good pair i personally think its a nice cut. its all about where it fits and what not but if you are totaly againest it thats cool to lol just dont let your weight control all of yur style ya know?
 
I have 3 older brothers and one older sister... Both her and I do cheerleading... SHe does dance and I do gymnastics. My parents gave up trying to change what we wear....
