Of course we've been hurt by others but what about the people we've hurt? What do we do to ask them for forgivness even if were almost sure they won't forgive us? Especially a non believer.... even if it may tear your family apart

Any advice, comments, etc ???

i'll include that to my prayers.. but if the Lord can forgive even though sometimes, we sin over and over again.. i guess, i creature can.. praying for that.. ^^

Lots of prayers help

Now being able to forgive no matter what is a wonderful trait, but I don't think God intends for us to allow someone to continually hurt us.

That being said, holding on to the past (what has been done), will hurt you more than the one you spend your time thinking about.

So again, pray! You don't always have to face the person you forgive, sometimes is is simply a matter of "letting go"

Just go seek the forgiveness, apologize. If you've done that sincerely, you're 'off the hook' so to speak. Now the rest is up to them. If they choose to remain in unforgiveness that's sad, but spiritually you've clean of it, whether they forgive or not.

Sorry, I was obviously reading this when I wasn't quite awake and moved some words in my mind while reading.

Agree with what ugly said.

ask God in prayer to show you His will and firstly if you have hurt someone you need to seek forgiveness from God and then if the opportunity arises seek forgiveness from the person you hurt even knowing they may not forgive you but if you really have turned to God in love through Jesus and turned from your sins then you are already forgiven by the one who we NEED forgiveness from...you dont need other sinners to forgive you...but it is right to follow the instruction of conscience and seek forgiveness from those you have hurt and to forgive others
