Hello,
Does anybody know any christian songs about Self harm? Or any bible verses on Self harm?
I've been depressed for a while and I really need some help.

I know how you feel. I have been suffering with depression on and off since middle school. I'm still suffering with it too. I also used to self harm and had thoughts about suicide. I do not self harm any longer though. It really woke me up one night when I was rushed to the hospital and evaluated. It made me realize how many people cared about me. My parents were crying and I felt so terrible for doing that to them. I still do. I know its hard dealing with depression and self harm. You got to pick yourself back up though. Are you seeing a counselor right now or therapist? I've been seeing a therapist for awhile now and it has helped a lot.

You asked about a bible verse or Christian song about self harm. I can't say I really know any Christian songs about self harm, but I found this verse:
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have recieved from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body. (1 Cor 6:19-20)

Pray to the Lord as well, and let him know you seek Him in guiding you on the right path to happiness. I have been praying a lot to the Lord about my depression, and it has helped.

Don't feel depressed! When everyone leaves God will be your BFF and stand next to you AND HAVE YOUR BACK!:) YOU'RE NOT ALONE!

Just keep your head up and pray about it, don't expect it to all go away over night. Just know that God is not giving up on you, nor is your family and friends. God may be putting you through this so you can help people later in life that are going through the same thing.
 
Im the same hun...I have terrible breakdowns sometimes...and have those same thoughts. No one can really help its just something i hope i will get over when things change, so im not going to give you false hopes. Just lots of prayer & focus on your goals and taking care of those around you.

I have a Bible iphone app and you search keywords and it gives you related verses, then i bookmark the inspiring ones and look back when i feel down.

You need to tell your parents that you want to see a doctor about your depression. If they don't help tell your school counselor. The help that you need is not on this site..Cheers
 
A really good Christian song about self harm is called "The Way She Feels" by Between the Trees! You'll love it :)

By Your Side - Tenth Avenue North - YouTube
By your side by my fav band Tenth Avenue North
It made me cry a lot the first, second third,,, etc time i heard of it.. i was depressed that time too.. and I felt ease after listening to that song...i hope that would help ease your emotions too.. God bless

Tenth Avenue North is my favorite too! They always seem to know how to word best what I'm feeling and thinking ^_^

I know how it feels to hurt. I know what self harm and depression has done to me. My advice to you is to seek help and pray about it. If you ever need help do not hesitate to message me. I'll get back to you asap. Just remember that God loves you and will never forsake you. :) <3!
