144,000 & 2 witnesses
What do you think they will do? Exactly?
Or I should say what do you HOPE they will do?
(not "who are they?")

The two witnesses will warn the wicked of their wicked ways including Christians, and if any man hurt them fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

And have power to judge the world.

6These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

And the 144000 are the elect of God the leaders the teachers and I would want to hang about with them when the great tribulation starts.
Little baby Moses’s leading us through the wilderness of this world in the great tribulation. Yes I would want to hang about with them.

The 2 witnesses are symbolic for the ot and nt. If they are literal then literal fire will come out of their mouth.

The 144000 will preach The Gospel to those that are left behind after the "Rapture" and only to those that have not accepted the Mark of the Beast.
The two Witnesses.....well I wouldn't mess with those guys....

The fire coming out of their mouth might be symbolic but it doesn’t mean the two witnesses are.
Elijah called fire down from heaven
And Moses turned the water to blood just like the two witnesses nothing symbolic about that.

Where does it say that in the Bible?
where does it say Jesus comes before the tribulation?

Revelation 11

1And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. 2But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months. 3And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. 4These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth. 5And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. 6These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

I consider the fire represents power by words over their enemies..

Peace and Blessings in the name of Yahvah God and Yahshua the Messiah.

Why ?

Moses turned the water to blood and with all manner of plagues.

Why would the two witnesses be symbolic when they turned the water to blood and with all manner of plagues.?

Sure they're symbolic for the Word of God tells us that the two witnesses are the two olive trees and the two candlesticks.

Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

By using sound hermeneutics scripture tells us that candlesticks are churches.
Rev 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

And by using the same hermeneutic principals doesn't Romans 11 tell us that the olive tree are Jews with Christians grafted in?
Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

So by using sound hermeneutics don't you think it would stand to reason that the two witnesses are the Jewish and Gentile churches and not Elijah, Enoch, or Moses as some would have you to believe.

In Christ, 1Christianwarrior316

Rev.14
[1] And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

They had seen the truth. Many of the 144,000, you planted seed telling them of the false messiah of rev 11, they remembered that, they didn't believe you really, but they remembered it, and when you are delivered up for not receiving the mark ( deception ) they will say wow, he or she was exactly right. So 144,000 do come out even after the fact. The Seven thousand will stand, and draw that 144,000 with them. and they will be as virgins.

Christ stands on mount Zion Hebrews chapter 12: 22-29 .

(Everything is going to be shaken and your going to want to be standing on The Rock, at that time. We have the victory, if you have the True Christ.
Evil cannot stand before God, and that shaking is coming for one an all time, it will be the last time. And that testing is coming, and the Judgment is coming. How you fixed for wisdom and the simplicity Christ taught. Nothing to fear if your standing on Christ, nothing to fear, when you have Almighty God, who will never leave you or forsake you..
Rev 14:

[2] And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:
[3] And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, ( rev 2:17) and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

They overcame from the earth.. Do you know how they overcome ? This is all those seed that you planted
that you thought failed. Not your right to judge . Those seeds were planted so that they're fixed in the persons mind, and when you are delivered up before the anti-Christ, and the Holy Spirit speaks through you, they know you were right. As long as they repent in the flesh, and step out of the deception, they're in God's hand, they're redeemed. And you can have a part in that.

[4] These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. ( they were not seduced by the false-christ and deception, spiritually speaking.) These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, ( by the Elect) being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb

When you study the Millennial Chapters of Ezekiel 44: you see that there are the priest, and then there are the priest of the Zadok. The priest ,are the priest that went astray, when Israel did; meaning they were deceived for a while. But the Zedok, the priest of the Just; the 7,000, pulled them out. By witness, by truth, and that's exactly how they are redeemed when they see the truth; and while they are still in the flesh repent. And then they are forgiven, and they are clean.

[5] And in their mouth was found no guile( they had the truth ): for they are without fault before the throne of God.

What a destiny and what a purpose. Is to stick with God,s word, instead of a bunch of flaky traditions of men, that make void the word of God in the minds of many many many people..

This is why we cant ever allow our selves to drift away from the word of God, chapter by chapter and verse by verse, thus saith the Lord.

Don't be listening to some clown, that's yacking ,ratchet jawing, about this that an the other. And God will tell you I didn't say that, I didn't send them.

But He did send you The Word, and He expects you to absorb it.

6] And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

God is the Father of all. And He has a place for all people. And the true gospel fits all people. everything in its proper place.

7] Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come ( that fixes the time): and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

The hour of Judgment comes not until the end of the millennium . So don't get ahead of things, when you still have the millennium to fit in there..

[8] And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen ( here , turning the clock back to the fall; just before the millennium begins ) , that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

Shes going to suck as many people in to anti-Christ teachings as possible, and shes not going to have any trouble. Babylon means confusions. Many people are going to be confused, an jump right on and ride it, they're going to love it, they found a new religion, and for many its the same old religion.

The sad part is this, many elderly people sit on a church pew all their life, being spoon fed , Not chapter by chapter and verse by verse. But singing old glory glory, and yet never being taught the false-Messiah comes first, or the teachings of Smyrna and Philadelphia , which are necessary ,ingredients of truth, to even have a place called a church and Christ be pleased with it.

That' s why the 7 churches where written to. And only two where pleasing to Christ. You don't have to be super smart to understand, I want what those two have. If you don't know the enemy , you can get in the sack with him if your not careful.

The Two Witnesses :::
Personally I think they will be Moses and Elijah ......Because of verses talking about the things they do and what Elijah and Moses did. And what it says the two witnesses will be doing.

They will be here before, and during the whole reign of anti-Christ .

Remember the mount of transfiguration .

They will be here in person ,and you will see them. If that happens in your life time.

You will Not, confuse them with anti-Christ ; its an impossibility.. Because of the deeds they will be doing, written of in :::

Rev 11:

Moses was literal, the plagues were literal. If the fire out of the mouth of the 2 prophets is symbolic then the prophets are symbolic. Those verses in Rev 11 have alot of symbols.

Not necessarily, Jesus is literal but I highly doubt he will have a literal sword coming out of his mouth.

Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

These verses are symbolic. We are told who the 2 witnesses are
Revelation 11:3-5

a few people in the bible evidently died twice...namely those who were raised from the dead at various points in scripture...

so you cannot take this is an inviolable rule that every single person who ever lived must die exactly one time...

i dunno what this topic is about, but it got me thinking.

when Jesus fed the 5k and 4k, wasn't there any witness that wrote about him?
all they ate and forgot about Jesus!?
