Liamson: fair enough

catlynn: you were right

greenNnice: you are silly. :D but hello!
_________
:D Yeah, my type is 'the giver,' E-N-F-J, iwantnothingbutHisTruth, and I want to be true to form , so...... I just gave :D . That works for me, but, any questions, we can talk about it, I got a minute . And, I do mean ' a minute.' :D

Its true I don't really care any more.

Yes, we can have different personalities. But that doesn't really mean anything.

I can have the world in common with someone who does not share my personality type.

I'm not saying this is like a horoscope, all I'm saying is that in the end it amounts to a small hill of beans.

I like this.

an interesting study would be to give it to someone you know and have them answer the questions for you and you would get an image of how that person perceive who you are and an idea how well they know you and how your perception of yourself may not be what others pick up.

Hmmm that would be interesting.

1. Liamson.. you're obsessed.

2. I think you should check out the
Enneagram. It not only measures what type person you are but has 7 different levels of health within that personality type - shows reactions to different scenarios for each of the different levels, suggests why people are the way they are (generally pretty accurately), gives ideas of where to go in a time of growth and where to go in a time of recovery (the types of people to turn to) etc. All quite fascinating.

3. Also interesting, which we have talked about, is Stengths Finder -- which measures people based off about 30 different strengths and discerns the 5 strongest traits out all 30 and how those strengths interact in the work place and life in general. The real test for this costs money and usually comes with a book (Stengths Finder 2.0) but I know there are free ones online - perhaps not as accurate, but still interesting to look through.

I like Meyers Briggs but I just think we've come to a place in life where there are other options that can help look even deeper into certain aspects of our lives.

My strengthsfinders thingy was

1. Ideation
2. Intellection
3. Empathy
4. Strategic
5. Command

I never seem to fit into an Enneagram test.

Yeah, I just started taking the Enneagram, but found it incredibly difficult. It seems to be an oversimplified questionaire. It lumps together two or three things, while I find often only one applies, and find one from the alternate response equally applicable. Maybe I just "don't fit" either.

I feel like some people don't think they fit when they are looking at the broad descriptions of the different numbers. However, if you look at the health level (of which there are 7) everything starts to make more sense. It's a breakdown, instead of into 9 categories (at a glace) into 27 categories. I really think it's pretty great.

And as for "over-simplified" I think that all of these tests do that. In Stengths Finder, the test you take when you pay only gives a minute to answer each question (maybe less?) and there are only 2 options and there were times where I felt like neither or both applied but I had to select something anyway. Same with Meyers-Briggs.

I guess we should all give up on all of these tests and just start discovering who we are by living life. Crazy thought, I know.

The wisdom of this world is foolishness with God ;)

But God gave men wisdom, to discover penicillin, to make planes airborne, and, many more things, including psychology tests developed by the scientific (or unscientific) minds of men. Oh, OK, and women :D

These tests give us ideas into ourselves, who we are, someone who thinks from the outside in or the inside out or even the outside out, like we ENFJs but that's just the 'E' part talking there. :D

I just wanted to say , God bless ya , Perdy , for giving us all more means (from men, and, women) of how to SEE and perceive and BE who God wants us to be :)

WHERE'S MAH OTHER INTPs??? :D

I go back and forth between ENFJ and ENTJ. It depends on what else is going on in my life when I take the test. If I have a lot of work projects, I'm ENTJ. If Out of work, ENFJ.

I am ENTP. Here are some traits I identified as accurate.

ENTPs are less interested in developing plans of actions or making decisions than they are in generating possibilities and ideas. Following through on the implementation of an idea is usually a chore to the ENTP > true, I have lots of ideas and rarely execute them. Have had a few inventions but trying to make that happen became too hard.

Although the ENTP is more interested in absorbing information than in making decisions, they are quite rational and logical in reaching conclusions. > I am terrible at making decisions but am famously logical about things.

The ENTP personality type is sometimes referred to the "Lawyer" type.> Been told many times I should be a lawyer hehe.
