Hello everyone,

I've only been on Christian Chat for a few weeks, so I'm just kind of getting the hang of it (sorry if I have lots of questions and am a bit of a neophyte--one of my brothers teases me that I need a "For Dummies" manual regarding anything technology-related, which, unfortunately, I can't argue.)

Anyway, I'm Kim, and am very happy to meet you. Please feel free to tell me about yourself--your interests, family, hobbies, etc. I love hearing about other people's lives and experiences. What are your favorites? (foods, colors, places, experiences)

I have been divorced since 1999 and completely out of any sort of romantic relationship for over 5 years--I don't have any kids, so I've tried to use any spare time to do volunteer work, spend time with my family, and save up enough money to travel. A few of my favorite sites were the Colosseum in Rome (completely amazing), the orphanage I came from in South Korea (heartbreaking but very inspiring), and the Grand Canyon.

I will be going on my first missions trip to the Ukraine this coming fall to work in various orphanages for two weeks (being a former orphan myself, you can see why this would be important to me.) I'm excited and kind of nervous at the same time... If you've been on a missions trip before, please feel free to tell me about your experience and offer any advice on what to expect or how to prepare.

I love museums, aquariums, zoos, places of cultural interest, art galleries, live theater, etc.

I came here because I recently started going to a new church and making new friends has been kind of a slow process, so I'm hoping to make friends here as well from all walks of life.

Thanks for listening, and feel free to stop by.

Kim :)

Hi Kim nice to have you here and I love your acquired tastes interests and hobbies,

My friends just call me jay I love to travel and find archaeology fascinating, I love to paint and draw in my spare time it brings out my creative skills.
I only ever watch the history channels to on tv and also go hunting for treasure in my spare time, well once a week actually sometimes more, from sea diving to using metal detectors on land, I've visited many of the acient sites in Greece Egypt Israel with a small metal detector in side my pants hanging out the bottom of pants with huge flares and a hippy wig on just incase I get spotted.
I think it has something to with the hidden treasure stored in me.😊. I just can't help it, but as I've always said finders Keepers, Keepers hoarders, I always skip the losers weepers part, that's a bit mean.

I also like fishing but sometimes I do have use an underwater crossbow especially on those slippery squid and Stingray unfortunately . But when I'm fishing normally I do like to put them back 😂 but the blob fish I find repulsive but never the less I put them back lol.

But my favourite play in theatre is Westside story.

Im also a Sherlock Holmes fanatic.

I love music but find I have to listen to secular music in instrument only especially the saxophone and base along with the violins, it helps me to relax and drown my sorrows and ignore the bird signs when I'm driving my truck lol.

... You only got four welcomes way back then, sister Kimmy???... Now that's a crying shame.

I'm glad I got to read your introduction (finally), though.

You are such a blessing. How has your day been, dear?
