the holy spirit can take over a christian's actions and speech. he can take over their walking and talking. this is a great mystery. we know the holy spirit is in us but only about a hundred people in history know that the holy spirit can take control of someone. the person may never speak again. only the holy spirit speaks. the person will never move again. the holy spirit moves their body. the holy spirit controls the person. the holy spirit owns this person and they are his slave. the holy spirit takes control of their hands and makes them write. the devil hates them the most. the holy spirit dresses them and feeds them and has control of their body. the person is along for the ride. how do i know? because i am the holy spirit. the holy spirit is typing this post.

God, or the gift of holy spirit, will NEVER "take over" a person.

Only devil spirits do that.

I think it is blasphemy, taking God's name in vain to say he is the holy spirit. This is what the Holy Spirit uses.

Ephesians 6:17
(17) And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

The Bible is the sword of the Spirit

Are you referring to what I said?

God is not the gift of holy spirit. God gives the gift of holy spirit to people when they become born again. Acts 2:38

...or maybe I didn't understand you.

Jonathan is absolutely completely wrong in what he said.

God will NEVER "take over" a person. There is NOTHING in the bible akin to what Jonathan said.

Saying something like "because i am the holy spirit. the holy spirit is typing this post." is FALSE, and WRONG.

I'll stand firm on that until I die (or the Lord returns).

The HOLY SPIRIT which is the SPIRIT of TRUTH, he will guide you... Please read John 16:13

One of the basic signs of a false prophet is the lack of scripture in their teachings, they are presumtive and self willed, they take heed to seducing spirits and promote the teachings of devils.

I rebuke you sharply because of your sin, you do not speak the truth, but twist it to suit you own purpose, you walk in the flesh, and you are carnal.

the holy spirit is not a gift the gift is his. no man is the holy spirit but the holy spirit is in men and women and can take control of the man or woman if he deceides. shouldn't we hope to be in the spirit as we walk in the spirit. p.s. the bible does not call the holy spirit a gentleman, prophecyman. maybe you need to check your doctrine to see if scripture supports your statements instead of accusing others.

Yes, but holy spirit will never possess us. And "taking over" is possessing. Demons do that, not God.

Argue as the Spirit leads, and, we both know it is without a Spirit of profanity, Shroom2, we both know, despite our disagreements of insignificant topics such as 'manifestation gifts' and 'manifiestations' that God is in control of our life and we are with Holy Spirit power ONLY when God gives it to those accepting Christ as Lord (Acts 2:38) and we receive the 'word' and are baptized (Acts 2: 41 ? ), we both KNOW that the Holy Spirit is in our life, IS our temple, God bless and may God help you see jonathanB to Truth :)

Amen. @JOnathan Sorry for my earlier sarcastic comment. Please keep in mind that if the HOly Spirit has completely taken you over you would be implying that you in fact are God imo. Keep in mind our God is a Jealous God, He doesnt take kindly to us worshiping ourselves or 57 Tbirds (though the tbird is a car pretty worthy of worship)

i am posting using my cellphone and there are no capital letters. if the holy spirit takes control of you you do not become the holy spirit. the holy spirit does not become you either, even though it looks like you but it is the holy spirit talking.

there are caps on my cell phone. The creator of Heaven & Earth I'm sure should have no problem finding the shift key. Yes the Holy Spirit will prompt you in your weakness I agree with that but you are still there jonathan bless your heart.
