What should i do

Now a days the gap between me and God is big. When i pray i feel like sumtin is stoping me. The worst part is when sumtin bad happens to me or sum one i feel guilty. Its like i knw it was going to happen. I need a friend who can help me and advice me.
 
My first advice is: Pray more! If it feels like something is stopping, something is, and that is the devil.
The devil trembles when we pray, and he will do what he can to stop us from doing it, for it is a mighty weapon against him.

Also: Read the bible. If you know the word of God, you are better equipped to face the attacks of the devil. All you have to do is find out what is Gods voice and what is the devils. God, who is in you, has already defeated him.

And when you do discern Gods voice: Listen to Him. He wants you to be safe, and being safe implies following His will and commands :)
 
I agree with wwjd_kilden, the bible says draw closer to God and He shall draw closer to you. If feel far away, cry out to Jesus and tell Him you want more of Him, fast if you have to, He won't forsake you nor pass you by. God bless
 
Like pushing a stationary car, you have to press in and get the momentum going again. Its hard and difficult and takes all your strength at first but once it gets rolling - you will find satisfaction. I am too in the same boat :) I went overseas and my secrete place totally got neglected. I know I just have to get it rolling again. Its learning to hear his voice again, and we only get that by hanging out.

Perhaps just set aside a time each day that suits you, be genuine, He sees all :) Just be like 'Hey God, Im not feeling you right now, I miss you - I give this time to you, to draw near and to love you'...it can be so simple as that :) And we always have time, no excuses - God knows the heart :) I can garauntee after a week you will be hearing him again. Persevere - perserverance is always fruitful. Much love
 
Oh and our God is not a god of condemnation, but affirmation - God is not the author of guilt and confusion - so get that lie out of the road :) x

Ithink God is dealing with you. If you feel it, then, consecrate yourself more unto him. He wants to talk to you; like Samuel who heard His voice 3 times before he reply God. Pray, talk to him and seek His face. Surely He will bless you and will be with you. Stay near with Him.
