All I have to say is follow your own personal convictions and do not follow somebody elses...if you feel it is a sin or can't do it in good conscience, then don't do it.. no matter what anybody else says.
That is good advice.

After seeing so many guys and very young women's posts here, it is strongly on my heart to talk with the OP woman to woman. While masturbation can lead to sexual addictions for men which can have extreme consequences, it can also lead to sexual addictions in women that can have far more life-altering consequences. For whatever reason, men are better able to separate sex from their emotions. Women are wired differently. For us, sex/passion/love are all rolled into one and we can easily mistake lust for love, whether that lust is our own or a man's. I truly believe this is why the scripture Robo quoted is directed to the "daughters".
Before young ladies are exposed to the fire of passion that masturbation can ignite, we really don't think about sex very much. We're curious about it, but it doesn't have as strong a pull over us as it does over men. But once that fire is lit, we're in the dangerzone. We can become addicted to that passion and go searching for it from man to man to man, oftentimes, as I said above, confusing it with true love. I'm sure you have read story after story in these forums about women who have been left with crush hearts, bruised emotions and with child. I'm sure you've also read how difficult it is for them to build healthy relationships with men at that point and eventually marry a good guy. Hopefully, I don't need to say how very difficult this is for the children born into these situations.
This is what God sees when He sees us begin to dabble into sexual activities that can easily and quickly control us, rather than our having control over them. It must be heartwrenching for Him, don't you think? Perhaps this will be helpful to think about while you ponder the matter.
I pray that you will draw close to God and be spared the wrong paths other women have found themselves upon. God bless.![]()

Lust is a sin. If we sin with our right hand, we are told to cut it off.
I always wonder, we are told to think like little children. Children clearly experience guilt at a certain age, once they realize that they have done something wrong. But they may not want to admit it, because the wrong thing they are doing feels good or tastes good, or sounds good. But what is "good"? What is good is pure and true.
Tell me, and this has probably been brought up- when masturbating, are you thinking unclean thoughts to get to where you "need" to be? Are you then showing a child-like, Christ-like faith, or living for your own pleasure?
Hi, everybody!
I hope that no one will think anything wrong about me, because of this question. But even you do, I don't care and I want to ask.
Is masturbation a sin? Is it something in bible what says about it? What do you think?
And... You don't must to answer this one, but it would be nice to know( if it isn't secret): have you ever been doing this?
Thank you very much!
God bless you!
P.S sorry for my English... I'm not so good at it, so forgive me![]()
Actually you are completely wrong on this. Children do not start experiencing guilt until later in their life. Earlier in their life, there is a trade of autonomy for obedience.
Lust is sin... and I'm pretty sure you have to lust to masturbate, so yeah masturbation is sin.
Before young ladies are exposed to the fire of passion that masterbation can ignite,
MATTHEW 5 VS 28; But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart, 'if your right eye cause you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.Masturbation is not a sin. The Bible is pretty clear on it.

When someone is masturbating,he is obligated to lust.Lust is sin.
Please can you tell me where do the Bible say that masturbating is not a sin
I never knew that. Can a man be erect and masturbate without lust? I wonder how?Leviticus 15:16
To say masturbating is obligated to lust is drawing a conclusion that isn't there. You can masturbate without lust.
