My band is called Of Deep Heaven and I need opinions..

So my band and I have been contemplating on whether we should go two frontmen(one clean female and one unclean male singer) orr one frontman(one unclean male singer and the drummer girl sing choruses and back up, ecs)

we're having a hard time because two frontmen can either be judged as just a band in entertainment or two messengers yuh know? and the singer drummer and lead singer has been done already but then again there's never been that in ministry. just in the white stripes.

We are a God-based band, and we want whatever will show the message of both men and women being in the Kingdom and sharing their heart through music. So which one do you think would help that message and image?(though I could care less about image..)

I'd just experiment to see what works best. I was in a band once and we had to explore a lot of possibilities to see what worked, what didn't, etc.

Well, in my band (The Crying Roses, but we have been talking of renaming it so it would not be weird for a guy to be in the band.) I and my best friend are both frontmen, but she is the actual lead singer and piano/keyboardist. I'm guitarist and I sing as well. I think it would be cool for you to have the two frontmen. I do not know if you listen to these guys, but I like how they do it. What do you do in the band anyways? What genre of music is it?

It's metalcore. I play drums and sing. We talked more about it and it all comes down to if I'm a Deborah or if I'm a Jael.. So will you pray?

Have two lead singers and have them sing lead on different songs. Whichever ones each of them sings best. The other can sing back-up in the songs they aren't leading. If they don't play an instrument you can give them a tambourine. they can just hit it against their leg or hand along with the snare's 2 and 4 beat. You've heard of the Eagles?? They are a very popular classic rock band and they have three lead singers. two play guitar and one is a drummer. They each sing lead on different songs while the other two sing back-up. Just have to figure out which songs to assign to each singer. Good luck! And by the way I love that you play drums Joey! I've played drums for many years and I was in a local band once that did have two lead singers. You guys just need to decide which songs you will sing. God bless. :)

In the band Beloved, which was a christian band, they had two vocalists. The drummer who did all the screaming, and then their frontman did clean vocals.

Hmmm, well, a lot of bands will switch between two different people.

A really interesting concept is having one finish the others sentence or go back and forth on lines then to come together in unison for a huge impact, but do it on every song and it's kinda weird, but throwing that out there haha.

Yeah, got it figured out. So thank you all for your opinions! It truly helped. God bless you guys :)
