I'm happy today because:

1) I completed my work successfully in my Comp class
2) I got ahead on my online classes and feel accomplished. =)
3) My doggy greeted me at the door with excitement that made feel loved.
4) I am a two year old teacher and the majority of my kids were angels today!
5) God gave me another day to live and breathe. =D

Re: Shaggy dog story!

A Vicar came from his church one day to find a group of boys surrounding a fretful, frightened dog.
"What are you boys doing to that poor dog?, demanded the Vicar.
The smallest boy piped up;"Oh it's OK Vicar. The dog is a stray & we're trying to decide who gets to take the dog home & care for it. We've decided on a contest & whoever tells the biggest lie gets the dog!"
On hearing this the Vicar launched into a 30 minute sermon. Amidst much shuffling of bored- rigid feet, the Vicar
concluded his sermon, to the boys, saying; "Why when I was your age I never, ever told a lie".
After much chatter, gossip & jury-like discussion, in a huddled group, the smallest boy, again, spoke, saying;-

"OK guys - Give the Vicar the dog!!

(Ooo; Sorry folks!!).

Hi Grimpower - Enjoyed your post - Thank you.

I know just how you feel - We are fortunate that our doggie has allowed us to live with her & in her house!!
Because she's a long-haired miniature Daschund, folk mistakenly assume she's a puppy- The cat next door to our house is bigger than her - but our doggie is determined to get the cat's tail one day! Our doggie has gotten close a couple of times.
Dinah (the dachshund) is older than our kids (15& 16). I don't know exactly how long that is in human years but I think it makes her about 80!
Dinah's Kennel Club name is; Aquarius Black Princess & it'll
Break our hearts when she's no longer with us.
I know we are mad by Dinah sometimes eats @ the dinner table! Her favourite breakfSt (after meaty chunks in brine!) is blue Stilton cheese, the yolk from my egg(!) & then orange marmalade on toast!
Think we are nuts? Of course we are!!!

I'm happy because my vacation started!
I have pretty good kids in my classes.
I have a great job and know God put me in the perfect place for me to be working.
I'm working on a project that's going really well at the moment.
I played World of Warcraft last night and scored some cool armor (yeah, I'm a geek!)
and I'm about to go off to lunch!
