First, Mt Zion is not Mt Sion.

Deu 4:48
From Aroer, which is by the bank of the river Arnon, even unto mount Sion, which is Hermon,

This is the only place in the OT Script speaking of Mt Sion, which is at Hermon. Therefore, Mt Sion is not Mt Zion, which is at Jerusalem. Neither is Mt Sion necessarily the Mt Hermon, because Hermon is called Sirion by the Sidonians, and Shenir by the Amorites.

The point is, that this is the only place in OT Script where Mt Sion is written, and in context of where Moses delivered the law of the Covenant to the children of Israel:

Deu 4:44
And this is the law which Moses set before the children of Israel: These are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which Moses spake unto the children of Israel, after they came forth out of Egypt,

Deu 4:48
From Aroer, which is by the bank of the river Arnon, even unto mount Sion, which is Hermon, And all the plain on this side Jordan eastward, even unto the sea of the plain, under the springs of Pisgah.

Mt Zion at Jerusalem is not Mt Sion at Hermon, which is the northern place on this side of Jordan east, where the law of Moses was delivered to the covenant people of God, before entering to conquer the land promised on west side of Jordan.

Mt Sion is the resurrected saints at the Lord's return.

All OT Script stops speaking of Mt Zion altogether, and only speaks of Mt Sion in NT Scripture. Which is after the death of Jesus Christ, and thus ending all the Old Covenant law, temple, nation, and kingship of natural Israel, pertaining to this earthly Jerusalem and Mt Zion.

Now, there is only the New Covenant born again body, temple, nation, priesthood, and kingship of the resurrected Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.

Rev 14:1
And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

This must be the return of the Lord to earth. The Lamb is standing upon Mt Sion, which is neither Zion nor Hermon on earth. The Lord first returns into the air, where He meets with the resurrected body and church of all His OT saints NT saints: The resurrected Lamb of God is Head of the body, standing upon Mt Sion in the air.

Rev 14:2
And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

Rev 14:4
These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

They are the redeemed and firstfruits resurrection to God and to the Lamb.

Mt Sion is the ascended saints to meet the Lamb in the air.

Rev 15:2
And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

All the OT and NT saints of Mt Sion stand upon the sea of glass with harps, singing the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb, which no man could learn to sing, but the resurrected disciples of God and the Lamb.

Job 37:18
Hast thou with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?

The Mt Sion of the Lamb is in the higher air above the firmament, which is the firm sea of glass, through which they look upon all the earth and the inhabitors thereof.

Isa 40:21
Have ye not known? have ye not heard? hath it not been told you from the beginning? have ye not understood from the foundations of the earth? It is he that sitteth upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants thereof are as grasshoppers; that stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain, and spreadeth them out as a tent to dwell in:

Heb {12:22}
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven,

The saints that sleep, and them alive on earth are not now the Mt Sion of God and the Lamb, but are coming to His holy Mount; Which shall be all His OT and NT resurrected and ascended saints to meet Him in the air, above the looking glass firmament of the sky.

And it will be high above at Mt Hermon, which is in northern Israel, which is to the sunrising east against the valley of Megiddo: The land of Armageddon, where all angry armies of the nations shall gather together to make war: Not only with the saints on earth as before, but now with the returned Lamb of God Himself:

Rev 17:12
And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Even as Pharaoh and his armies, thought to chase down the exodus Hebrews into the dry Red Sea bed, and were destroyed in a moment by waves. So shall these armies of the beast, thinking to make war with the lamb and His faithful saints, be likewise destroyed from the air by Mt Sion high above Mt Hermon.

More on the body of Christ being the stones of the Lamb's Mountain, called Sion:

Mat 21:42
Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

Rom 9:33
As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

1Pe 2:5
Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

2Ti 2:19
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Psa 87:1
His foundation is in the holy mountains.

Not just buildings, but mountains have foundation and stones. The foundation laid for Mount Sion is Jesus Christ, the resurrected Lamb of God, and the members of His body are lively stones thereof.

Rev 2:17
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

They are lively white stones with their new name written and new song to sing, which only the faithful and true followers of the Lamb can receive and learn.

Eze 16:12
And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.

They are the jeweled stones of the living God, that are sealed in the foreheads of His resurrected servants, and ascended saints of the Lamb.

Lam 4:7
Her Nazarites were purer than snow, they were whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire:

Rev 1:14
His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

Rom 6:5
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

The are the redeemed bodies of the saints of God and the Lamb, resurrected in the likeness of Jesus Christ: Pure white lively stones, with polishing of sapphire jewels. The Lamb Himself being the chief cornerstone and Head thereof.

Sng 4:7
Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee. Come with me from Lebanon, my spouse, with me from Lebanon: look from the top of Amana, from the top of Shenir and Hermon, from the lions' dens, from the mountains of the leopards.

Look from the tops of these mountains of the north, by the valley of Megiddo. There will be seen them that come with the Lord in the air high above,

Jde 1:14
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

Rev 1:7
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

That spotless Mt Sion of the Lamb, that love the Lord Jesus at His return:

Eph 5:25
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

2Co 11:2
For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

2Ti 4:6
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

The point is, that this is the only place in OT Script where Mt Sion is written, and in context of where Moses delivered the law of the Covenant to the children of Israel:
Your statement (bolded) is incorrect. Mt. Sion is mentioned in terms of lands taken from Og king of Bashan and Sihon king of Heshbon.

Deuteronomy 4:44-49 "This is the law Moses set before the Israelites. These are the stipulations, decrees and laws Moses gave them when they came out of Egypt and were in the valley near Beth Peor east of the Jordan, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon and was defeated by Moses and the Israelites as they came out of Egypt. They took possession of his land and the land of Og king of Bashan, the two Amorite kings east of the Jordan. This land extended from Aroer on the rim of the Arnon Gorge to Mount Sirion (that is, Hermon), and included all the Arabah east of the Jordan, as far as the Dead Sea, below the slopes of Pisgah."

I don't argue with people changing Scripture for some corrupt purpose.

Quote the original script, and then we can talk.

Thanks ATG, for your interest in Mount Sion, and for all the excellent scriptures you mention. Mountains in the Bible are pictures of kingdoms and are sometimes referred to as simply the Lord himself. When Daniel chapter 2 talks about the kingdom of God, it is referred to as a mountain not made with hands. Similarly, when the Lord sits on the Mount of Olives, olives are a picture of believers and the mount that Jesus sits atop in authority is the kingdom of believers or Christ's kingdom. When the Bible says that as the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the Lord surrounds his people, mountains are a picture of the Lord and Jerusalem is a picture of believers.

Then we can understand that Mount Zion is the same as the the people of God, the city of the living God. The people are the city. We read about this: "But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,". The term angels just means messengers and is talking about believers, they are God's messengers. The verse is saying that anyone who is saved is part of the the group of believers in the kingdom, not at some future time, but beginning the moment that they are saved.

You spent a little bit of time talking about the air. This appeared to be a reference to Christ's coming in the air in 1 Thes 4:17. It is important to understand that the Bible is written in parable form (Psalm 78:1-2). We learn that the term 'air' in the Bible is a term denoting heaven. The kingdom of heaven is described as a small seed that grows so that the birds of the air lodge in its branches. The birds of the air are pictures of believers of heaven. The entire parable is talking about the kingdom of heaven and the term 'air' means heaven.

Does this make you think ?

“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth:

and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭65:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“but the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

…But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:7, 10, 13‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:

for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21:10‬ ‭

“These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. ….But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:13, 16‬ ‭

“but ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:22-24‬ ‭

“Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.”
‭‭John‬ ‭18:36‬ ‭KJV‬‬

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14:2-3‬ ‭

“So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:19‬ ‭

“And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. and they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭14:1, 3‬ ‭KJV‬‬
