In the next few weeks (I forget exactly), Russia will have been at war for longer than they fought Germany in WW2. That's against an enemy with no navy, an ancient airforce and that fights alone. Every European nation and America should be red faced with shame. Ukraine gave up its nuclear weapons and offensive aircraft based on security guarantees from both Russia and America. Hundreds of thousands of dead and wounded on both sides could and should have been avoided.

Sure, God is in control and the guilty will answer to Him. In the meantime, the destruction goes on while America blames the victim. That is not what I call making America great.

You won't have long to wait. Putin is not interested in peace. Even if Ukraine capitulates, there will be only a short term peace. Putin's stated intent is to restore the former USSR. He is already at war with Europe, cutting undersea cables, sending drones over Germany and other places, conducting cyber warfare and sabotaging military industries. Meanwhile, Europe sends strongly worded protests. It would be comical if it were not so tragic.

Or in your case - he was elected to represent USA not Australia.

This is similar to Ilhan Omar saying she was elected to represent the citizens of Somalia and not Minnesota. It almost makes you wonder why she is in the US and not in Somalia?

Much like they described WW2 being only a pause between it and WW1 over issues that were not settled to everyone's satisfaction. It took eighty years between WW2 and now before they began to complain over the agreements after WW2 but history repeats it's self once again. There's a late bronze age documentary about the Tollense battle in northeast Germany where they stripped the clothes and everything valuable from those who lost the battle so it seems fighting over goods and luxury just repeats it's self over and over.

So far we are seeing the collapse of the standard bearer among the Muslim extremist governments in Iran and we are seeing them bring their ideology to the rest of the world with the swearing in of Mamdani.

This kind of appeasement is exactly what led to WW2. Far from being known as the champion of world peace, Mr Trump may just have set in motion the movement toward WW3. The only good news is that Ukraine is almost certain to reject the deal, as they should.

For all the good that Mr Trump has done, he is not infallible. He has proven susceptible to the undoubted charm and cleverness of Vladimir Putin. Only God can make America great again, as Psalm 146:3 tells us.

What the Donald essentially wants Ukraine to do is say, okay, we admit we'll never get out territory back so here, Russia, you win. But everyone knows Russia won't stop there.

And here it is. The sad facts of any war caused by egos of men is that millions of lives are turned into statistics.

It’ll go on until they’ve driven each other down. The war has enormous consequences for both sides. Soon they’ll both be running out of resources, and then what? A frozen conflict just waiting for a spark to fire up the whole thing again?

And if they come to an agreement? A ceasefire. Then what? Rebuilding the military on both sides. Then be clashing again. Or Russia will find other strategic goals, while Ukraine will invade Belarus.

It’s somehow not making the headlines as often as before. Both sides are sending missiles against each other and the death toll is extreme in both Ukraine and Russia. Also they’re both running out of money.

Yes, very slowly. About 170 feet a day since the start of the war. Or 24 square miles a day, or an area the size of Pennsylvania since the invasion.
 
Russia is slowly losing momentum. It’s the law of the attacking side when the logistics are lacking. They’re facing their own Stalingrad and Leningrad in the next couple of months.
