What occurred in specific situations during the formative years of the Church is not necessarily normative for the Church.
Or, more simply, your assertion is historically correct but not restrictive.
Further, you would need to prove that the Holy Spirit has never filled a person without the laying of hands… and you cannot do that.
Wrong.Do you understand what you are saying?? you are picking and choosing what and how you will believe.
good luck
Your misinterpretation is problematic.Basic fundamental principle of Jesus Christ, which according to you is problematic...
Does Hebrews 6 say “laying on of hands for the infilling of the Holy Spirit”? No.Hebrews 6:2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands.
the Bible does encourage believers to judge each other, it causes us to be accountable.
I follow Jesus Christ, not the words of Paul that have been twisted into lawlessness.

Does Hebrews 6 say “laying on of hands for the infilling of the Holy Spirit”? No.
Don’t waste time with your eisegesis.
WOW!!!! I now fully understand why there is 45,000 flavors of confusion.
The most popular flavor of confusion being catholicism of course.
They claim to be the largest cult in the world!
Cult worshiping which god??
They put mary before Jesus which is idolatry
They go by religious traditions and extra bible teachings which is not being led by the real Holy Spirit.
Real Christians go by God's Word.
Before we put away from among ourselves "the wicked person", we must first prove they are a "wicked person".1 Corinthians 5:11-13
But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
Jesus continued His teaching ministry thru New Testament writers so those are not Paul's Word but the Words of the Lord.
It's gullible people being tricked by the devil in to twisting what is being taught that is the problem.
There is a movement to reject the Apostle Paul altogether and that too is of the devil.
Acts- And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
So Paul, standing in the midst of the Areopagus, said: “Men of Athens, I perceive that in every way you are very religious. For as I passed along and observed the objects of your worship, I found also an altar with this inscription: ‘To the unknown god.’ What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you. -- Acts 17:22-23 ESVWOW!!!! I now fully understand why there is 45,000 flavors of confusion.
Jerusalem is God's city
Rome is Satan's city
So, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ....so when Jesus says, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord Lord' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my heavenly Father" ...do you believe him?
I don't know, are you adding to salvation? I quoted the Word.

This one must be yours. The "unknown religion." Since you won't say, we can only guess.
Would you say that many of those who believe in the Lord Jesus, don't do the Fathers will?. I ask because you claim that many believers will come to Christ on that day saying 'Lord Lord'. And He rejects them because they don't do the Fathers will. So, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ....so when Jesus says, "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord Lord' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my heavenly Father" ...do you believe him?
