Need a verse for this for He never makes us feel guilty. Do we understand why we are in right standing with the Father? Its because we believe in Jesus. Rom 8.. Christ said I didn't come to condemn but to save. Again the new man not the old man. We forget those things that are behind.. no guilt.
It depends how you look at The word guilty, or guilt, of course you could say your guilt tripping me, but no that's different. Sometimes pleading for mercy can cause a person guilt. Like when you say awe you've made me feel guilty now.
You could look at it, in one direction or several.
But you could look at it as an inner feeling towards a friend , or even say your partner, and feel guilty in another way. Or be reminded of when a time, when you upset someone when you see there upset come back.
So you could even feel guilty by a person you upset, or a person you injured, and see that injured person in your mind and then feel guilty, which would be a good thing, coz then you feel good about being more careful, but that's if you been convicted on Gods terms.
More so if your with that person and you see that person all the time.
It could be a friend it could even be a neighbour.
But the guilt that comes back to you in your memory is the very thing that makes you treat them better.
Inner grief can cause ever lasting guilt, because even in heaven under the alter the righteous who are alive in Christ are suffering in there conscience right now.
My teacher who's a professor says if a person says they have no guilt, there actually declaring themselves perfect, as he says the whole world is guilty before God, but it's by God's terms a person is made to feal guilty,
As we have something called a sinful nature that never leaves us.
So I wss wondering what is that mechanism that makes the whole guilty before God in the unsaved and saved on Gods terms.
