Has anyone else noticed , if u let a little sin in then suddenly loads of others seem to manifest themselves in your / my personality ? One false move and I'm who I used to b before I knew the Truth 😞 . I guess this is why the forgiveness of God through Christ is so massively important , we MUST believe that our sins r forgiven . If we don't truly believe then as soon as we sin we might think to ourselves ' oh well that's it ! I've ruined my relationship with God I might as well go and do whatever I like whenever I like and forget about Him ' , a bit like if u go on a diet and u have a bad day and give in and eat something that u shouldn't . U might think to yourself , oh well ! I've done it now so I might as well just forget about the diet and eat everything I want , at least for today .
We must believe 100 per cent , that Christ's blood has cleansed us and all we have to do is acknowledge our sin , ask to b forgiven and we will b , otherwise we r doomed because , we will all of us still sin even after we know the Truth 😞 .
God knew that from the begining . Adam and Eve sinned and they knew God probably better than any human ever did . The Israelites sinned many times in the desert and they had the pillar of fire by night and the pillar of cloud by day and food from heaven ! God always knew we could not b perfect in his sight , which is why He have His only begotten Son . We must not let the adversary convince us that God will give up on us if we r not perfect in every way every day and we must not let him convince us that we have the right to judge other Christians and condemn them , if they repent they will b forgiven . We must not give up on God because we feel like giving up on our own foolish sinful selves when we sin foolishly .

This has been one of the most difficult issues for me personally. In our fallen and sinful state, how do we embrace forgiveness, especially when our human weakness remains and the temptations overpower us multiple times.

Yet, there is comfort. We learn that Gods grace is not at all like Adam's sin, the gift is not like the trespass. While the judgement followed one sin, the gift follows many trespasses and brings justification. Can there be any more joyous statements than this? (Romans 5:16)

Of course, this is not a license to sin, but that is another discussion.

This may be the most important and difficult thing to overcome in the quest of becoming a Christian! And for me, it remains a struggle at times.
I know that I sat in Church for well over a year, seeking the joy and assurance that was present in those around me. But, I had a very difficult time believing that God could ever forgive a sinner like me.
Then one Sunday I heard a sermon that ask and answered the following questions.

Is there a relationship that is so broken that it is beyond fixing, if the axe head floats?
Is there any health issue that cannot be healed, if the axe head floats?
Is there any person who cannot be forgiven, if the axe head floats?

Then when you study the Bible you begin to see those who are chosen by God who were sinners as well. Even David who was called a man after God's own heart committed murder to obtain the wife of another man.
King Hezekiah was called a good king. It was said that he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord. However, Hezekiah failed to trust God at times, putting his trust in the nations around him. He was also prideful at times which caused him to stumble. But, near the end of his life he was able to say, ”Behold, it was for my welfare that I had great bitterness; but in love you have delivered my life from the pit of destruction”.

Satan continues to lie and tell us that God will not forgive us, but God's grace continues to forgive, if the axe head floats!
