2 Timothy 2:12
If we deny Him, He also will deny us
See post #395. I thoroughly explained this.
He doesn't forsake His saints, but if / when a saint turns away from the Lord He must let them go
His saints are
preserved forever. (Psalm 37:28) How long is forever? Jesus' sheep will not be snatched from His hand. (John 10:27-28) His sheep have eternal security. In
contrast with those
do not believe and are not His sheep. (
John 10:25-26) Only pseudo-saints permanently turn away from the Lord. (1 John 2:19)
because God is not mocked, what we sow is what we reap - if we sow to the flesh we shall reap corruption (Gal 6:7,8). He's not forcing anybody to abide in Christ.
In regard to
Galatians 6:7-8, the one who is continuously (Greek present tense) sows to his own corrupt, flesh which is opposed to God and unrenewed by the Holy Spirit shall of the flesh reap corruption. Our life here is sowing of one kind or another. But he who sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
Only believers sow to the Spirit and from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
Romans 8:8 - So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9
But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
The Greek word for “abide” is "meno" which means to remain, tarry, not to depart, continue to be present. This is not something that only elite saints do but all genuine believers.
1 John 4:13 - By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit... 15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. Abiding is not forced or legalistic for genuine believers.
OSAS adherents are mocking God claiming even if a person gets saved and lives in sin they are still saved.
1 John 3:9 -
No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. This does not mean sinless perfection (1 John 1:8-10) but is referring to a lifestyle or bent of life.
At best OSAS adherents are cherry pickers deceived in to believing only parts of God's Word. At worst OSAS adherents are tares who are servants of satan
You are slow to listen and quick to judge. Don't allow your anti-OSAS derangement syndrome cause you to make judgment calls that are well above your paygrade and bring judgment upon yourself. But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. (Matthew 12:36)
Either way, OSAS is heresy which is on God's list of "those that do these things will not inherit the Kingdom of God"
You judge and condemn ALL believers in the OSAS camp which makes you a false accuser of the brethren. It's the unrighteous who practice sin that will not inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Galatians 5:19-21)
Applicable only to those that are led by the Holy Spirit as in ceasing from being sinners.
Do you claim to have no sin or that you have not sinned? (1 John 1:8-10)
It's conditional, but the OSAS cult continually claims it's not conditional because they are confused having to keep track of all the lies they teach. It's a sad situation for them for sure.
Making blanket judgment calls that are well above your paygrade, being a false accuser of the brethren and suffering from a severe case of anti-OSAS derangement syndrome is a sad situation for you.
