Now you are beginning to understand grace.
Not at all, I do understand you don' t have a clue how to be reborn.

What do you think of the first message in the NT that was promised to be preached in Jerusalem?

When you were born the first time?

Your mother broke water.
That is the first birth...

Born of your mother (water) + born of the Spirit = born again.

LOL, so I was born in sin and then I as spirit born.

How did I get spirit born?

LOL, why use water???

Strewth. You don't need a glass and a half of telling.

It was a continuation of John's baptism symbolizing repentance and belief in the one to come. Israel was being prepared for their Messiah. He came into Jerusalem riding on a donkey and they (Israel as a nation) rejected Him.

Jesus never baptized anyone with water. His baptism is with the Spirit and with fire.

Matthew 3:11
“I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Satan's plan keep them out of the water, if they get in the water keep JESUS name out of it.

As you can tell it's working.

Nor do you. You constantly reject you are born spiritually by the Spirit of God. Jn.3:6 Spirit gives birth to spirit.

You forgot that was one of the things you never explained, how does spirit give birth to spirit?

Your so intelligent, it should be easy for you.

So... You believe that the thief on the Cross was water baptized when he believed.

Says nothing of the sort. Water is symbolizing physical birth for everyone is born with an intellect which was Nicodemus' problem. He was a very smart man but an unbelieving religious Jew. Nicodemus was relying on his "book smarts" to understand God. Jesus, as he quite often did with people, cut right to the heart of the matter and told him one had to be spiritually alive in order to comprehend spiritual matters, intellect alone will not cut it.
Water is not referring to physical birth. It is part of what it means to be born again. Jesus never mentions anything about natural birth, and natural birth impacts spiritual birth in no way.

Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Except a man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Except a man be born again = Except a man be born of water and the Spirit.

Nothing in what Jesus says is referring to natural birth. Everything He says is concerning what is entailed in being born again.

Further, we all know that if:
A = B, and
B = C, then
A = C.

A. By water and the Spirit
B. Born again
C. By the word of God

By water and the Spirit = born again.
Born again = by the word of God.
By water and the Spirit = by the word of God.

Coincidentally, faith is the result of hearing, and hearing results from the word of God.

Sure I do. I even gave you a scripture that plainly says we are born again by the word of God. Is 1 Peter 1:23 still included in scripture?

You completely fail to see the context. Jesus says nothing about water or physical birth until Nicodemus mentions it.

We are not born twice spiritually. Your ideas are nonsense.

I never said a person is born twice spiritually. You are the one separating water and Spirit. I say they are operating simultaneously. Just as faith comes as the Spirit employs the word of God.

Were in your bible says if you believe you are saved?

Acts 16:30-31

He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”

There!

Still framing in the same false dichotomies and moralistic thinking: the threshold is not a quantity of sins but the sin of departing from faith in Christ - ceasing to trust, abide in, or remain loyal to Him; in other words, unbelief.
If you are saved, that means that the Father has given you to Christ. If you have not been given to Christ, you were never saved!
Then in John 6:39 we are told: “ And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day”.

Thus, OSAS!

In Jesus day women normally delivered their babies at home, not a hospital.
It was commonly known that before birth a woman would break water.

So? Water = the first birth, physical birth.

Just, Google - Woman breaking water.

Your so intelligent, it should be easy for you.

You have been given a human spirit, not only the indwelling Holy Spirit.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24
May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through.
May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming
of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it.

Since when does the Holy Spirit need to be kept blameless?
That speaks of your human spirit, which was begotten by the Holy Spirit.

grace and peace .........

Because they are separate. You are saying a person is being born twice whether you realise it or not. You keep saying we are born of the water and the Spirit. What birth do you think Jesus is talking about? Jesus does not say water gives birth to spirit, He says Spirit gives birth to spirit. John's baptism in water wasn't even about salvation directly but about repentance and preparation for the Messiah who was coming to save. How many do you think got baptized by John ended up being the ones who cried "crucify Him" when Jesus didn't prove to be the Messiah they were expecting?

The water is symbolic of physical birth in the John 3 passage and I explained why quite clearly.

Nowhere has any one of you explained why we are suppose to be born of water when Jesus doesn't even baptize in water, only with the Spirit and with fire. Yet you keep wanting to make it necessary when it isn't even a part of His ministry to the Church.

You lot are still in the transition period. Forty years of discipline in the wilderness, forty years of grace before God said enough Israel, now you will wait till the end of the age.

You don't stop and actually weigh things together. It's all superficial platitudes that make no practical sense.
